They’re not going to be canon. I’m sorry but it’s not, she’s abusive towards Kara. She is toxic. It’s not a healthy friendship at all. Lena has been like this since season 3 and it’s gotten worse with this season. If they’re were going to be canon, it would have happened. It’s exactly how smallville did with Lex & Clark. Now that Lena and Kara have made up with their friendship now, s6 probably isn’t going to focus on their dynamic as much as this season did unless they decide they want Lena to go back dark lmao. There’s a reason William is there, and yes everyone including the writers realize how horrible that relationship is and don’t care for it because they know it’s unnecessary, but 1) cw is pushing that give Kara a love interest, 2) they want Kara to be happy romantically, 3) Mon-El would have been here endgame but Chris wasn’t doing well mentally, and left the show. They’re not going to put Kara and Lena together because that was never plan. If Lena were a guy you guys would be screaming how abusive he is, just like you tried to do with Mon-El. Lena has treated Kara way worse and has actually physically harmed Kara, by using kryptonite on her. Kara also doesn’t even know that Lena almost outed her identity to the entire world, or that she created a simulation in virtual reality where she constantly killed her. I mean is that someone you want to be with? No. Also the love of Kara’s life is Mon-El, which has been confirmed by the show runners, Melissa herself, and yes even Katie McGrath. So if then ever gets with Lena, she technically would be settling because her true love is 1000 years in the future.

Kara was emotionally manipulative towards Lena. I don’t like Supercorp because Lena deserves better than Kara. If Kara is honest with William I think that has potential to be an actual healthy relationship with potential.

@gracie Kara was not emotionally manipulative towards Lena. She lied to protect her, because Kara hasn’t told a single person, WHO is HUMAN, since s1 with Lucy. Everyone that knows is an alien or found out themselves or is a villain. Kara deserves better than Lena who is probably the worst friend you could ever have because one mistake and Lena is going to do the worst shit imaginable and then say “it’s because you hurt me” playing the victim like she’s good at. William and Kara will never work because there’s 0 chemistry, it’s forced and stupid. They literally had her rip his shirt open in the episode and there was no chemistry. If it’s not working now, it’s not going to work later even if their relationship is deemed “healthy”.

I think Brainy was too weak to leave and the room didn't have the shield on at the end. The current treatment of Alex reminds me of what they did in season 2 with James when they had no idea what to do with him so they turned him into Guardian. Poor William doesn't stand a chance, the way the writers are forcing William and Kara is so dumb. When Lena got sad about Kara and Alex' hug, I can't help but wander if she was also feeling sad because what they have is something she could never have with Lex. I was so sad when she told Kara she could yell at her, that she deserved it, because last episode we saw Lex scream at her and being abusive. I'm sad that she thinks that treatment can be justified if it comes from Kara or any person she considers better than herself. The moment when Kara and Lena's speeches happened at the same time was so epic. They do have so much chemistry and I wished for a hug too but I'm okay with the handshake for now, I hope we see more of them rebuilding their friendship in season six. The writers will get a year to plan the next season so hopefully they do a good job with it. Supergirl isn't gonna be back in January with the rest of the shows so Superman and Lois will go first and I'm guessing Lex will go there from here somehow. I can't see him having that Leviathan thing and not try to use it against Clark as we saw him wonder through the Earths in Crisis killing Supermans even though he knew they'd die anyway from the anti matter. I just hope next season is the last we see of Lex, that we see Lena finally integrated with Kara's team, that we see the show working on Kara and Lena's friendship, that Alex gets a good storyline and that a Kara storyline is at the center of the season. (On a shallow note I also want Supercorp and Kara without bangs)

hahahah the ONLY reason I watch your supergirl reactions (I never watched the show on my own) is because of the supercorp scenes and more importantly your reactions to them. I play most of the episode on 1.8x speed but lower it for supercorp scenes. You are the best haha

Probably because Lena is traumatized from everyone in her life lying to her. This wasn't just one mistake. Kara was fully aware of Lena's past and how lying to her would hurt her, yet she continued to do so for three years. Kara also continuously used Lena for her connections to the Luthor family and still continued to question her because of her family name. I stopped watching the show because of Kara. Her superiority complex was unbearable. I always found her character bland and annoying, but she truly became one of the most unlikable characters I've seen.
