Damn I’m sad we can’t get your reaction to the Batmoore team up throughout the episode but at least we get your reaction to Sophie’s coming out scene ☹️ lol

oh and btw I resent that link of extra Sleepy Hollow content (when you have the time of course)

Batwoman is one of my favs to watch out of the current Arrowverse seasons. Obv you aren’t watching current seasons of the other shows yet, but I’m just saying that Batwoman has really improved since the beginning and I’m loving the show. Sophie’s character development so far has been fantastic. She got on my nerves a lot at first, but after this episode she is officially one of my favs on the show. I need her and Kate together already. Mary is still THE QUEEN (besides the actual Queen family on Arrow) and I need her to officially be accepted into the team. All she has ever wanted from Kate was for her to be trusted and loved like a best friend and sister. I do think Kate loves Mary, but I’m ready for her to tell her she’s Batwoman. MARY FIGURED OUT THE DAMN MULTIVERSE FOR FUCKS SAKE SHE’S USEFUL!! Missed your whole reaction, but wonderful review as always 💕

Too bad we couldn't get the entire reaction but I'm so happy you still gave us what you could and your lovely review as always! I really loved this episode, this show is getting better and better.

I love how you took my advice and just posted the review part. I think it worked out pretty well. as for Sophie's coming out storyline: I think they're not gonna handle it as terribly as the supergirl writers did, for many reasons. 1) the batwoman showrunner is gay herself, so I bet she wouldn't just ignore that part of her character's personality. 2) thus far Sophie's and Kate's sexuality have been part of every episode (even if it's just a one-liner or a snarky comment) which makes me hopeful that it's gonna be woven into the story like it has been until now 3) since Kate is gay herself and has had a lot of parts of that being celebrated on screen already (we saw her at a gay bar, we saw her kissing multiple women, we saw her struggles in military and jobwise in general, we saw her come out publicly, we saw her alter ego batwoman come out publicly, etc), this all makes me think it's gonna be integrated in the story with Sophie as well. also, as you mentioned every show on the arrowverse has different showrunners and there are some connections and yes they talk to each other to give it the feel that they're all in the same universe, but each show has their own spin on things. imho the supergirl writers are incapable of writing lgbtq storylines properly or let characters evolve in general (Lena still has the same struggles she had in S2, Alex's dating life as you said is non-existing and even Kara still struggles with the same kind of things like balancing Kara and Supergirl as identities). I get a different vibe from the batwoman writers though, bc they've consistently lead Sophie to the point where she would come out to her mom .. or where Mary got to evolve to the point where she finally calls Kate out on things ... on batwoman people are allowed to grow and it fits with the storyline and is not some "special episode" kind of thing ... so I wouldn't worry about them not showing the process of Sophie's development..

I still don't agree that Kate shouldn't tell Mary to "Protect" her, I think that's a dumb excuse out of Kate, if that is the reason which I assume it is, because look how much danger Mary has been in without even knowing, look at all the things that have happened to her. If anything Mary has a right to know considering her life has been so involved in this mess because of it. Also the last scene would've only been understood by people who read the comic books, or have seen shows like gotham, but the toxin that the dad left with mouse was actually very similar to a villain in the comics, I'm not gonna say who just so you can be surprised but I noticed you didn't seem to have to same reaction other people had so I thought I'd let you know.
