Callie is my favorite character. Not gonna lie--even rewatching this show, tears were streaming down my face when she was talking to Brandon about Liam raping her. Maia Mitchell does such a good job here! Her performance feels very natural and realistic--it legitimately sounds like somebody struggling to voice their trauma to someone, leaving out certain words that are too painful to say out loud, voice trembling a bit as she has to relive it in her head. Such a heartbreaking scene but, like you said, also a good moment for her to feel like she can open up.

yep, what an episode! it is the first time you see Callie fighting for others. you are oh so right, she is a fighter. it is what she does best. her life story fueled her in that way. I love that you love that show, bc it’s so important and honest and real.

I'm so glad you love my character... I'm kidding. Kidding. Lol. When this show first started I laughed at the fact that her name was Callie and they said she had an issue with "male authority [now we know why :((((.], and the show as called The Foster's. Lol. You know I really wanna know how much detail her journal went into, and what Talya read. Because it takes a special kind of bitch to have been able to read that and make Callie out to be the bad guy. So glad you're enjoying the show! The season keeps on getting better!

Yes. Callie has only been open to Brandon in the past couple of epiosdes and now about Liam which led her to then be honest with the parents which was great to see.

Oh my... Callie's story is one of the saddest story I've seen on television. If it wasn't for Maia's acting I don't think I would be this connected to her but her acting is so advanced for someone her age, it's so freaking natural, yet powerful. I love that you're understanding this show like you are, I like that you're appreciating that this show isn't just pulling out random storylines and it's all coming from somewhere, they're all important to the character's developments, hope you choose to watch it to the end to see how it all turns out.
