LOVED this reaction again! you're really good at understanding the characters (even though you barely know anything yet). just wanna clarify 1 thing though: Nathan LOVES basketball. it's his passion and his dream, just like with Lucas. He just got so much pressure from Dan that he can't enjoy it right now.

That’s the reason why I connect with Nathan so much is because you see that he literally has no support system. As you said Lucas has his friends at the park, Haley, Keith, his mom, Whitey, all while Nathan is trapped with the influence of Dan. And the way it showed Nathan blocking out his Dad’s voice and the expression on his face that displayed his misery and sadness. I just love his story arc.
