the sad thing about Skye being on the index is she knows the protocol for people on the index which is they either get contained or killed, so that is why she had that dream of the gun being pointed at her. karla was also on the sopranos and desperate housewives.

The main thing I like about this episode is meeting May's ex. Blair Underwood is perfectly cast! (I understand Ming Na and Underwood also went to the same college but didn't know each other at the time. Yes, I'm a trivia beast.)

I like how we saw a hint of this in previous episodes. We saw how Skye wasn't really controlling her emotions like she thought May taught her. She just pushed them inside. Now that she has powers that seem to be affected by her emotions, we see the real problem.

Because of HYDRA's infiltration of SHIELD from the beginning, when HYDRA came out, SHIELD was in shambles. The real SHIELD agents had to search around for who was real and who was HYDRA. It had to shake the faith and confidence of a lot of remaining SHIELD agents. Who do you trust? Mack and Bobbi talked about how their friends turned on them and started killing them because those friend turned out to be HYDRA, so imagine the trust issues that happened there.
