The reason why the human faction has “power” is because most vampires want to keep their affairs a secret. The majority of the human faction is made up of politicians and important people so killing them would be a problem. Also if they died there would be no one keeping their secret and cleaning up their messes. Of course, Klaus doesn’t care so he finds it amusing. That scene between Klaus and Camille always gets me because its sad. Yes, its wrong what Klaus did to her but Klaus genuinely wanted to help her and he doesn’t know how. When he was like “you can find comfort in the truth.” He was expecting her to be glad and find peace and instead she snaps at him. And you see it in his face that he realizes that he isn’t helping her and he doesn’t know what to do about it. I love that about Joseph Morgan, the ability to express so much emotion with his face. Its so powerful. Elijah and Rebekah never had to suffer the physical and the mental abuse that Klaus did and therefore they deal with things differently. Also his face when Elijah killed Agnes lol. #proud

Rebekah is my favorite character, but I do think she put Marcel in a tough spot. I don't think she should expect him to leave his home, friends, and family when they just got back together. Sadly, I think Rebekah is like this, because of how damaged she is from Klaus destroying her love life in the past. I do hope that you will continue to ship them, because they are my favorite couple and I think they have so much chemistry and such a rich history. It is also important to remember that when Marcel acts arrogant or violent, it is learned behavior. He was raised in the image of Klaus. A lot of people don't like Marcel, because he threatens Klaus. But, he turned out the way Klaus raised him.
