New Subscriber Perk + New Tier (Patreon)

UPDATE: 

This post introduced monthly rewards, starting with October; since November's subscription charges start in a few hours from me making this update, I've deleted October's exclusive and will be posting November's when it's finished in a few weeks.

But since I finished it last minute and was only able to have it up for 2 days: if you were subscribed at the $20 tier or above during October, message/email/DM me and I'll send you a copy. If you were at the $10 tier, you can upgrade to the $20 tier for November and I'll send you a copy that way too (the exclusive is for $15 tier and up, so 15 for Oct + 15 for Nov = $30, but 10 + 20 = $30 too. 

Anyone below that tier has unfortunately missed the deadline. But even though you can't get the best deal anymore, the story isn't lost forever.

Technically the value is ~$5 (the difference between the $10 and $15 tiers), but since it was sold at the $15 tier, it will be keeping its $15 price tag when it goes up on Gumroad in a few days, in order to keep things fair for October patrons. But paying on Gumroad just gets you the story, while paying on Patreon gets you the story plus early access to all the other stuff that's months away; just worth remembering.

For the last few months I've been wanting to write exclusive stories for my patrons, not just ones that get published after a few months. So that way people who continue to stay subscribed to me can reap the most amount of benefits. And I'm glad that today I'm finally able to introduce the first one! Plus it's 10,000 words long (literally on the dot, exactly that many. It was 10,018 but I edited it down to be exact 🥸), which is 23 pages! So a pretty big story too, that's like 4 or 5 chapters of HTTYB/HTTYD. A good bit of reading :)

At first I was gonna add it as a perk for the $20 tier since they're my most generous fans, but at the same time, most of my subscribers are at the $10 tier. So I decided to compromise and meet in the middle, creating a $15 tier that has all the benefits of $10, plus these monthly exclusive stories. So for most people, it essentially costs $5 if you upgrade, although for some it'd be $10. And considering its size (ten thousand words!), I'd say it puts it on par with the $5 cost of early access HTTYB and $5 cost of the commissioned stories and shorts.

Yes, you could also get a full length novel for the same price, but this is pretty niche writing we're talkin about here lol. I can't sell a million copies, I'll be surprised if I can even get to 100.  I'm just trying to turn this hobby of mine into something financially dependable, and I'm not quite at that level yet, so I've gotta keep coming up with new ideas and this is one of them. I'm sure everyone can understand that--I'm sure tons of people try turning their hobbies into a living! So hopefully this price point is a good balance between something that's fair, but also something that can bring me from "lucrative side hustle" to "part time job."

Anyways, the plot! In this story, Reese loses out on his Halloween plans, but Olivia offers to take him with her to a party. The only catch is that he has to attend as a puppy. But the longer the night goes on, the more people begin to treat him like a dog, and the more he begins to embody one. Intended to be the first of three tales that get more degrading for Reese as time goes on! While this uses the same characters as HTTYB, the timeline is completely different and is not related to that story in any other aspect. I wanted to make sure the plot is unrelated because the main story of HTTYB is my most popular work, and I didn't want anyone in the lower tiers, including even free readers, to be missing out on part of the story. So while the characters and personalities are pretty much the same, the whole story of Reese shrinking down from a virus and slowly becoming Olivia's servant isn't a part of this timeline. He shrinks down a little bit in this (and will shrink more in the sequels), but from a drug he takes instead of some sickness.

It features pet play of course (not any actual animals, just pretending and treated like one), femdom, public humiliation, and butt & foot stuff.

Remember, because this is a monthly exclusive, it's only available to October patrons, which means you have the next 2 days to download it if you're already at the right tier, or upgrade if it sounds like something you might wanna read. Because roughly 48 hours from now, the post will be deleted. If you missed out on it, I'll probably put it up on Gumroad or some other store in the future, but it'll likely be the full $15 to make sure it stays valuable as a perk to my patrons - except buying it later means you don't also get all the other perks that come with a subscription. 

It took me a while to plan out and figure out the logistics of some stuff, but now that I've got this sorta thing set up, I'll hopefully be able to publish November's exclusive sooner than the last few days of the month haha.

Thanks to everyone for the support. It's been a little over 9 months since my launch and back then I was posting like one chapter every couple weeks and was just hoping to maybe get like 50 bucks a month, but now I write WAY more and hit $800 this month! I got a new laptop recently, I can pay to get my car fixed, I can buy lunches on campus instead of being hungry til I get home lmao. I mean I'm definitely not saying I was poor beforehand, but you guys have definitely helped me improve my quality of life and so I am very very thankful for that. Hopefully you guys enjoy this next step in my page!

and now its 5 in the morning i busted my ass the last few days especially to complete this with enough time leftover in the month so now i am going to go the hell to sleep goodnight
