Pepper is a mouse from the Everborn Mountains; a volcanic region to the far south of Aston. Growing up, she wanted nothing more than to someday have an important job serving the royal Shineheart family. Albeit it was farfetched, she held onto that and made it her life's goal. Being a short mouse made her a laughing stock among her peers, but she never let the bullying discourage her. As an adult, she made the mode to Aston and confronted one of the generals of the Royal Guard, requesting to join. This particular general was Ashley, who took a liking to not only her determination, but her mastery over her affinity. Her physical skills left much to be desired, so Ashley took in the mouse as her apprentice to train her to be the strongest she could be. Pepper's stubbornness and unwillingness to quit has gotten her in a bit of trouble more than enough times, but she is extremely dependable no matter what.
