Lightning is a young horse born in Aston Town, the capital of the Alemos Kingdom. From a young age, he showed great interest in going on adventures to parts unknown and exploring the world around him. Initially not much of a fighter, Lightning continued to hone his skills with his affinity for electricity, becoming a fairly capable fighter. Francesca, the princess of Alemos, chose her best friend, Lightning, to be her personal bodyguard. Furthermore, he has taken up the legendary blade known as the Dawnbringer to combat evil forces that threaten to take over his hometown and kingdom. Having discovered he possesses an extremely rare ability to commune multiple affinities together, Lightning seeks to control this power to not only protect the people he loves, but rid the dark kingdom Galveron of its dreaded curse. Despite the many intricacies that circle his daily life, Lightning is very easygoing and extremely simple to get along with. He spends most of his time with his friends and family, or simply sleeping. Although his attitude is calm and laid back, he will put everything on the line when it comes to protecting his loved ones.
