Patreon Update - July 2019 (Patreon)

Hey Everyone!

It's been a long May but I'm trying to get things back on track.  How are things going on YouTube? ...bad.

After music reviewers and others got slammed with copyright bot claims two months ago, I've still had my disputes and counter disputes denied.  Which means my biggest videos make ZERO money, and I'm making roughly 20% revenue of what I was making two months ago.  That hurts bad.

On top of that, I've been deprioritized heavily in YT's algorithm and it's taking a while to get it back up.  June is going to be dedicated to that.

So what's coming up for June?  Quite a bit.  For starters, I'm going to do The Podcast That Rocked more frequently, but ON A NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL!   https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTKdt0nQLsNwHCbPKT_wY6w 

The reason I have a second YT channel now is JUST for the podcast episodes.  This way the watch time and other stats won't mess up the algorithm on the main channel.  PLEASE SUBSCRIBE as I need to get it to 1,000 before I can unlock all of YouTube's features.  The next episode will be recorded this Sunday night and will feature Mike from Become The Knight!

For those asking about the podcast on other platforms, it's now available on Spotify, Spreaker and Apple Podcasts!  They should all come up if you search The Podcast That Rocked.

I have at least one special video coming out soon on "10 Bands You Need To See Live (2019 Edition)" which will be a yearly thing.  I also have decided on the next ATF I'll be doing and I'll start writing that out this month.

I have three album reviews coming out for Silversun Pickups, Baroness and Hollywood Vampires.  I also put back the "You Better Listen" tier if anyone wants to snag it for an upcoming release.

Here's hoping things can get better on YouTube.  I admit I'm pretty down about it all, but I'll keep trying.
