Restructuring plans/ideas (Feedback requested) (Patreon)

Changes so far:

Upping Bottle Tier to 13 people, Moving Telegram chat in lower tier

So I'm trying to think of a way to restructure my Patreon, both in a way that brings in new people and one that admittedly eases the workload. >_>

I'll have to bring it down to just one sticker per person, I just can't keep up with two per person and everything else I want to work on. I'm sorry.

That being said, here are my ideas for the new tiers (changes in bold):

$1- (No change)

$5- Blanket tier

  • Full-resolution downloads of all drawings (.png for illustrations, .gif or .wav for animations)
  • 10% off illustration commissions!
  • 5% off animation commissions!
  • Early notifications of when I'll open for commissions
  • + Rewards in previous tier

------------

$10- Paci tier

  • 20% off illustration commissions! (Does not stack with previous tier)
  • 10% off animation commissions!  (Does not stack with previous tier) 
  • View each new page of Youthful Bliss one week earlier than on FA! 
  • Be notified before others of select livestreams (This'll help me stay focused on art, too lol)
  • + Rewards in previous tiers

$20- Bottle tier- Limited slots (10)

  • Your choice between a colored sketch or a Telegram sticker each month
  • View progress GIFs of Youthful Bliss pages the day they are uploaded (Thumbnail > Sketch > Inking > Colors > Final) 
  • 30% off illustration commissions! (Does not stack with previous tiers)
  • 15% off animation commissions!  (Does not stack with previous tiers)
  • Access to Patron-only Telegram chat 
  • + Rewards in previous tiers

$50- Diaper bag tier- Limited slots (2)

  • Your choice between a flat color drawing or animated icon each month
  • + Rewards in previous tiers (minus sketch or Telegram sticker)

This sounds like a good set of changes, the only thing that jumps out at me personally and only because it affects me: with 13 current sticker-reward tier slots (10 for 2 stickers, 3 for 1), how will who gets slots for the new sticker tier be determined?

Well, overall I largely do like a lot of your changes going on. A lot of your negative feedback is going to be the people losing their chance at stickers at all, from my perspective. I never like to see lesser tiers lose the chance to enjoy a little bit of personal art from you. From any artists, largely. I understand why with the work load, especially with you going into the holiday seasons! I still really enjoy the illustration discounts, and to add an animation discount is pretty nice. I get a little apprehensive looking at the cost, but I really do want to get an animation sometime when I'm stable enough, so knowing that that little bit of help is there is nice! Diaper bag tier, I really like. Upgrading a little bit while down sizing sticker output is a pretty nice bit. Animated icon is always a fun option too. Other big one that I'm not fond of though is the $20 bar for the telegram chat, as I feel like that should probably be less (as telegram chats and discord servers are among the first rewards for many artists).

one other thing i could suggest is do like an endless queue. like a separate queue for people who dont make it to the slots. so you can choose to do 1 person at a time like for an example, Person A is first for the upcoming month, then next in line, Person B gets next month & whoever joins the tier, joins at the bottom of the line. if they unsubscribe, they get removed from the line

unlike raffles, its more fair (which is why patreon doesnt allow raffles)

it just means you create a list (excel or google sheets is a good tool for that) then you just add people to the list by the order they became a patron. it would be something you would have to keep track of every month
