👆🏼 Madness. Gimlet, Wondery, Acast, Earwolf - the big boys compress the life out of their product because the square community has come to expect small filesizes and lifeless, tinny audio. You don't get that with YKS and the proof can be heard every week - full spectrum dominance from DB's Zodiac vocoder bass, through JF's velvet baritone, all the way up to piercing Eric Cartman impressions so high frequency only dogs get the joke. My advice is to stop using your phone's speaker to play the episode while you're on public transport and get some proper wired headphones. Trust me you'll never go back.
