The only explanation is the shorts are covering because they see far too many tailwinds going into the end of the year.

Hello All. I don't have any Tesla yet, as I'm only in crypto. I live in the USA. If I were to buy any, would Vanguard or Fidelity be the way to go?

Any brokerage will allow you to buy or sell TSLA and any other NYSE, NASDAQ, etc listed equity. If you were, say, doing a lot of options contracts I'd suggest a different brokerage or two, but I'm guessing you're not? For example, Tastytrade caps your commissions at 10 contracts to open and zero to close, so a 100 lot iron condor would cost you only $40 in commissions and another $50 in fees to open and only about $50 in fees to close, about $140. Interactive Brokers has similar pricing, maybe a bit cheaper AND will pay you if you create liquidity by buying or selling big lots. Whereas a 100 lot iron condor at TDAmeritrade and Fidelity would cost you $0.65/contract, $265 to open and another $265 to close for a total of $530!!! It looks like Vanguard charges $1/contract one way so $800 to do a 100 lot Iron Condor. So, things to consider.

Either should be fine. I know Fidelity you can buy fractional shares so if you have only small amount of capital you can buy partial shares and DCA if you like that approach.

At this point, I'll be looking to put a small amount of capital, and then increase my position over the next couple of years, especially after selling some crypto in the next bull run. Thanks again!

Even Robinhood isn’t a bad place to park some cash , people probably laugh about it but it’s user friendly and do fractional shares as well, they also offer an ira

Definitely not Vanguard. Vanguard teams with Blackrock and State Street in owning 10%+ of more than 85% of corporations -- and they put commissars on boards of directors to attack free speech and all of the other cherished individual liberties delineated in the US Bill of Rights. I do not know about Fidelity, but suspect that they are on board with Blackrock too. /// I buy and sell using Interactive Brokers, but I am not an expert and could be wrong in that choice. So far, my experience with Interactive has been absolutely fabulous for equities. I use SwanBitcoin for "crypto."
