Alex Mashinsky was arrested in New York on Thursday on charges of securities fraud. Three federal agencies also filed civil lawsuits against Mashinsky or Celsius, alleging that the company defrauded investors. The fine is 4.7BN and before SEC CFTC get their piece they will pay back investors first.  The SEC's suit alleges that Celsius and Mashinsky misled investors about how it lent out users' crypto and its own risky trading practices. I am hoping this means they pull all his assets, his home, etc and wipe him out.
