I was just wondering about this! I’ve been in NVDA for 5 years and looking to take profits but was wondering your take on this. Thanks, James

my call option expires tomorrow, I'll be waiting till then to sell!

I'm buying NVDS, which is a short of NVDA @13.61

The AI hype continues… will be very telling when we get NVDA earnings.

I took profits yesterday, clearly should have gone fishing instead 😳

James, what's the max pain price for tomorrow's options exp?

Anonymous

I'll take a short Wenn it's at 335

Nothing wrong with taking profits on such a strong momentum stock at the moment. Profits allow you to be in the game long-term. I'm happy for you.

it is moving so fast now as people are scrambling to cover - lots of bit wall st players are short

gamma is when people are short - a sharp increase in the price of a stock causes an increase in the demand for options on that stock. This can lead to a self-reinforcing cycle, as the increased demand for options drives up the price of the stock, which in turn drives up the demand for even more options and stock

I was reading some info about it right now. That s awsome!😸😻🤙haha

I only have a few shares. Worth selling if peaking?

sounds like its a bit like a short squeeze where people have to cover the calls they sold etc , pumps the price .. a bit like what happened with GMC https://smartasset.com/investing/gamma-squeeze I remember he did a video on a Tesla gamma squeeze way back when.. it went over my head a little bit
