Solana has underperformed against some other assets including avalanche. Do you see this continuing? Also, how long do you see this period of accumulation lasting?

I am always stumped by people saying that improved asic efficiency is somehow going to lower the power consumption of the bitcoin mining network. To me it seems irrelevant how efficient they are as the competition for block rewards will always drive miners to add more asics to the network to compete with the other miners. Essentially, it seems that as price goes up, energy consumption will go up accordingly. What do you think?

I have a question for Rob. Does he like his new pool and is it better than his last pool? Also, I have a another question. If ETH can’t get any faster, it will never be able to compete with Sol. I keep hearing if the supply shortage if bitcoin, but I really appears to be the “it’s around the corner”. Once prices go up, coins go back to exchange. I really feel the coin shortage is just another piece of hopium. Thoughts?

Curious about the often very tight correlation between the prices of Solana and Cardano lately. For a while they were in exact parallel - when Cardano was at 1.14$, Solana was at 114.00$. What do you think is happening? And how soon before Solana definitively breaks away?

Good to be paranoid. Ledger Trezor BC Vault Others ( I have ledger and Vault - James has Trezor I believe and very reliable and safe ) . Always good practice to have a hardware wallet. Remember always always always buy the hardware wallet DIRECT from a manufacturer. Do not buy from third party vendors like Amazon etc.

What will ultimately determine the value of a layer 1 or 2 SCP platforms? Bearing in mind we have platforms like Solana which are performing 1000s of transactions compared to ADA &amp; DOT which are still early days. Will it be a percentage of BTC or ETH or will they decouple and be judged on their own revenue and profits as you descibed in yesterdays video regarding ETH valuation.

I like this. I unstaked from there too. I think Kraken is good to stake and higher yield percentage relatively. @Dragonryder gave me a good tip to Stake on Binance. Though I know James does not like Binance I ended up staking there too. Took mine off Exodus. I believe Celsius is starting staking for SOL but I understand ( perhaps incorrectly ) that may be on Everstake too.

I understand what NFT's are but the economics make no sense at all. They seem incredibly illiquid and endless in supply. Beyond simple digital collectables what is the potential of the NFT space that we are overlooking? Are they used to take advantage of tax loopholes, or make massive isolated peer-to-peer transactions? Are they being used as membership tickets to set up very exclusive social networks?

As I understand it, to borrow on Celsius at 1% you need to provide 4 x debt as collateral, which means forgoing yield on the whole amount, despite it still being exposed to counterparty risk etc. doesn’t that make the “effective cost” of borrowing in Celsius 1% interest plus foregone yield on collateral - ie up to around 20%? Am I missing something?

I’ve been in PR since Oct 2021 while traveling back to SF regularly. From what I’ve seen there is no resistance from native people here (I’m in good area of San Juan). But the housing price is surely soaring up in desired areas. That said compared to where I’m from (SF Bay Area) housing here is still dirty cheap if you don’t need high end luxury buildings by popular beaches. Rob will have more ideas since I’m only renting here.

Hi James.. waiting 1 year to take profit to save on taxes is not good strategy I believe.. I think we should look for taking profit periodically to really make gains in crypto. We are seeing same levels for most of the coins after 1-2 years and that behavior most likely going to remain same. Please advise.
