Does anyone see the similarities to the last 3 weeks of Btc and the 3 weeks from end of January 2021? Divergence on macd is similar, Stoch is overbought, and approaching ATH make me feel it could be a double top and big sell off?

When shorting a put on MSTR or other BTC proxy, is the StopLoss set at 25% below Breakeven? Or, just go into the trade being able to afford being put the shares?

If the USD depreciates at about 15-25%/year, would/should not TREASURIES have about 15% in BTC to hedge for that "theft" of the USD? Why is nobody talking about that? Not 1% or 3% or 5% but 15% to get a real offset!!??

I’m well versed on crypto but new to equities. just moved 40k into GBTC earlier today. Is GBTC still a safe bet with the new futures ETF coming tomorrow.? I can move money without tax implications as it is in a 401k account. Would you invest in ETF, stay in GBTC or put it in CleanSpark or another stock? Short vs long term?

James, in Australia I have discovered we get CGT and Income tax. If you mine a coin it is accounted as income (pay personal tax or company tax) with a cost basis when it is acquired and if you sell it and make a CAP gain you then also pay CGT as well.

Everyone’s situation is different, but with a high paying job, do my dd on crypto with the intention of hodling most positions for minimum of 1 year for lower cap gains tax. Some trades are for fun which I sell sooner and offset with tax loss harvesting. Wash sale rule doesn’t apply to crypto for now, so gotta keep good spreadsheet to profit and minimize taxes.
