It is very complex as it’s all so different depending where you live.

I just converted my coinbase to coinbase pro. Partly happy. Partly not. But I believe I can still run both. I need to use credit cards for some purchases and can only do that on coinbase. So I can buy there and then store on Pro. Best of both worlds hopefully.

tom brady and Giselle have made contractual agreements to endorse FTX and get crypto for payment in return

Anonymous

Buy on pro as the commission rates are significantly less !

Great review James, just a note FTX has dogecoin !! 🙀 but overall I do like FTX!

Hey James you guys (you always say “we” hence the plural) are machines!!! The quality and the amount of content you are pushing out is just mind boggling! Again, thank you!

Great stuff, and to add, I love your whole data-driven approach and overall presentation!

Such great information! Thank you so much for breaking it all down for us❤️

I disagree that exchange has to pick up and list coins that they think are good and safe. This is not their role. They have to enable the access to the coins for us and we have to DYOR…

SIMPLE THE BEST 😁🌅🏝️⛵🎶 Thank you my friend! Happy Tuesday 😁🍷❤️

This worries me a bit, the amount of marketing dollars FTX is spending is quite high, MLB, Miami Heat Arena, now this?

Anonymous

Of the shite coins, this is the only big cap. I still would not touch it though, but it would be a loss of revenue if FTX doesn’t jump on it as well…

Great stuff thanks!!

I tend to agree with you Jack but within some reason. Some real shit ones that are obviously scams maybe not but overall the more coins will attract more business and thats what mainly exchanges are for. Exchange do take into account the type of token/coin and if it can be easily rolled out and if there is enough demand. E.g. ERC20 is always an easier roll out but new protocols will require development and money spent by exchanges to make it possible so they assess based on demand whether its worth it or not.

Question for one of your shows perhaps.... Scammers and thieves are practically ruining the cryptoverse. Why are there no investigations, prosecutions or a process to nuke these IP addresses permanently? What can be done?

Anonymous

Very good question. Looking forward to James' response.

Binance won’t let uk customers withdraw

Embraced James advice and moved everything off Binance, before similar action happens in the US. While at it moved Crypto.com tokens as well . Coinbase Pro works for me.

Luckily I hardly have anything in binance, but I’m more worried about banks here getting increasingly more negative towards crypto.. Can’t use pro , wish I could. They won’t allow me to fund with a bank account. And card fees kind of defeats the object . Gemini seems to be my only option for reasonable fees . Guess I’ll have to explore more options on buying crypto..

In the UK Binance will let you withdraw Great British Pounds (GBP). You cannot deposit GBP from a Bank account or Bank Cards/Credit cards. You can transfer crypto to other addresses. This is not driven by Binance, it is as a result of the Finance Conduct Authorities (FCA) decision. https://www.ft.com/content/2d427ed7-f9e4-46cf-a4c4-46429b19df5d.

Hi James. Have you heard of Newton in Canada? Curious if you have. Thanks for everything you do. It is very appreciated.

Okay, this is a real question: has anyone ever talked with a real person to resolve an issue like you would if you had a problem with Schwab, TD, Fidelity, etc.? That’s the crypto exchange I’ll switch to in a minute! Heck, even real-time chat would be better. You can do that with any other legitimate company, including Apple, Google, or Amazon. Why can’t crypto exchanges? Everything is fine until it’s not and the way things are now you twist in the wind....

Thanks, James, I’ll check them out.

Fees fees fees all kinds of little costs when buying, selling, and storing our coins. They add up. Do y'all keep a tally of all the fees you pay per year and more importantly, is this a tax deduction or do we just loose out? Thanks.

What do you guys think of BitMart? I really want to buy some pancakeswap but can't find another brokerage (besides binance) that sells it and can hold it.

Just started to use ftx.us, Coinbase pro and Celsius and will not look back. Awesome! Thanks James.

Thank you IA will there be an analysis on Australian exchanges Coinspot and Swyftx?

QUESTION: this is small potatoes but it pokes at my personal OCD. When I sell off all of a particular crypto, I end up with small amounts (a few dollars or cents worth) left of that crypto on the exchange. There doesn't seem to be a way to cash it out and clear the crypto off my account? Is this kind of a moneymaking scheme by the exchanges to keep all these small amounts?

I have concerns about crypto.com being based in Hong Kong and their ability to operate unfettered with China breathing down their neck, is this a significant risk?
