Many Technical Analysis predicts Bitcoin go to 20k or lower and will need several years to come back to ATH. They seems very convincing. What are you're thoughts on that?

Anonymous

You often mention July as being a big month. What is going on in July?

Anonymous

Hi James, Patreon Capitalist member and love it!! thank you for all you do to educate and inform! is Cosmos (ATOM) on your list , and also would you consider doing 5 year predictions in the spirit of Cathie Woods and older folks like me lol . I sent a $20 tip note and hopefully you got it for the animals !! Thanks James

I want to drill down on your answer about borrowing against your BTC holding to reinvest in BTC. I think you’re assuming that the borrowed funds immediately get reinvested. However, what I did was to borrow against BTC above 57k and got my funds in USDC. I then held that getting 10% interest until BTC, dropped. I’ve now been able to pick up BTC, ETH and ADA at great sales prices. I also didn’t borrow the full amount I could but more like 50% “just in case”. Curious about your thoughts on this alternative method of borrowing to reinvest. Thanks!

Hi James, Brilliant Q&A session as usual. Just a quick question; If you bought 1 Bitcoin when it dropped to 53K after the all time high in April, does it make sense if you sell it now at a loss say 40K and aim to invest all the 40k towards buying more than a Bitcoin if it drops below 40k???

wow 4 - T is a stray we took in. She was abandoned on the streets and had kittens, all adopted but sadly nobody wanted the mom.... so she is now part of the team here :D and on YouTube

the infrastructure is being built for more on ramps and new funds by money center and regional banks to offer bitcoin custody....

Thanks Chad. Love it and ATOM is officially on the list and will happen in the next 5.

yes correct - scenario would be someone buying 1 BTC at say 50K, borrowing 50% collateral pulling in 25K to buy more BTC.... my concern would be the 1% chance BTC falls hard requiring a margin call.... key is to control your risk and be in a position to cover margin calls. You are well aware of the potential risk but I want to stress people be aware of the downside risk which could mean a borrower loses it all.

This would be an intense timing excercise. Akin to almost day trading. The time to sell and buy back was 10 days ago... I feel the direction is up from here so I feel that would be risky. The odds are higher it will add $5K than fall $5K.

James, I don't know about others - but from time to time I still see a ton of glitches and latency issues with your live youtube streams. It's pretty frustrating because I know you're out there spreading important knowledge and truth, but sometimes key points become unintelligible. Like today you were talking about rebalancing and some key things were totally lost. Hope you can get that fixed for future videos! Thanks!

James. I have tax savings idea. Long setup here....I have been buying bitcoin on a regular basis the last year. Obviously the last few months I bought at higher prices than the current prices. On the other side of my assets I’ve sold stocks at capital gains. Here is my plan....Sell the Bitcoin I’ve recently bought at losses to offset my capital gains in my stock portfolio. Then, immediately buy back the same amount of bitcoin I sold. Since there are no wash sale rules on property I can do this without issue. I know I will lower my Bitcoin cost basis for the future but I don’t plan on ever selling for profit so I’m not concerned. From my view this is a short term window to take advantage of this tax savings opportunity.

Tax loss harvesting. I actually have Coin Tracker, a crypto tax app. It tells you when to harvest a loss. I'll let James answer, but it sounds like you're in a position to grab a quick loss.

So sorry, we have had the internet team out here twice.... and although we have a lot of bandwidth there still seems to be a tiny glitch for a few seconds every ten mins. Hope they can resolve soon. Thank you

I’ve heard you often mentioned that proof of stake might not be good because people that have the most coins would have more power. But with proof of work don’t you have the same thing with the people that have the most computing power? It’s it a wash?

Hey J...thank you for everything. Love the enneagram segment that you did. You strike me as an Integral thinker (i.e. Ken Wilber, Spiral Dynamics, etc). Also... would you be willing to geek out and do some kind of old school Porter analysis/Genetic strategy analysis on some of these blockchain companies....or is that kind of analysis thrown out the window in a more flat structure, integral DAO? Just thinking out loud.

thanks @James for another awesome and real video - have you come accross this you tuber https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFp86n7QCf0 I know there are lot of FUD out there but no harm in trying to understand the other side (as i am trying to provide some perspective on the recent market movement). Tecklead raises some compiling reasons for the selloff and why sold his BTC. I know you are flat out with research and addressing all our emails/comments .. but your thoughts or analysis on his reasoning why market went crazy would be muchly appreciated. once again thanks for all your hard work.

I think that some models in Google Sheets have been posted in the past. These were at least referred to in some of the videos. I can not however seem to find these documents here on Patreon. Does anyone know how I can access these files? Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the off topic question, but does anyone have the fee discount info for FTX? I thought I remembered James providing it in one of the videos. I'm moving my assets over to FTX. The interface is great.

Hi James, thank you for your service, great value! wondering if you have any thoughts on USDT tether. Still so much negative press out there regarding whether or not it is manipulating the crypto marke. I'm not sure if you have discussed before?

James, thank you as always! It was very nice to meet your cat as well :)

Hey James, thanks for all you all your work great great content. Seriously cant thank you enough. as you said always have your dancing shoes on, so here is another angle from a bear analysis on BTC crashing and not recovering not sure if you have seen this thesis https://youtu.be/xcBrZ3qM8Sg But would be worth while if you can comment on this number/chart comparison in regards to stock market, gold etc. Does he have any validity in this conclusion? As always love your work, cant appreciate enough.
