Get rid of the losers or those at a top or sell calls OOM
Take profits from winners that you are uncertain eg speculative Alt Coins eg a LTC spike or an Equity that has suffered a fundamental change
Calendar cleaning - eg loss harvesting
Portfolio concentration eg 10 Assets - 9 are flat and one goes up 12.5X eg ETH over last year… now your portfolio is 60% ETH.
Portfolio Rebalancing - My 4 Methods
8:00 Why ask someone to pay you in BTC and make them have a taxable event. Why not just get paid in FIAT and immediately buy BTC yourself? What is the advantage of the direct payment? -Mike McDaniel

9:00 Why Get Paid in Bitcoin
People do not want cash or receive it to transfer it. Fee.
1 BTC and you transfer from your Binance wallet to Trezor - CB 10K. Not a taxable event. Only taxable when you sell ie transfer 1 BTC to Kraken and convert to USD if new value is 36K.
Now U.S. Treasury tax compliance includes a requirement for transfers of at least $10,000 of cryptocurrency to be reported to the Internal Revenue Service.
Transferring as an expense to someone in Portugal or Romania or recognized - I incur the business expense and they receive BTC - that is up to them how they report in their jurisdiction.

Those with the most coins win
Less secure than completely decentralized POW algorithm
POS vs POW
