When the BTC market reaches the cycle peak do you think the price will fall abruptly and bottom out with 90% + down trend? I think there is a possibility for more smoothing with all the corporate investors getting involved or they could play right into the usual pattern and swap their longs for shorts.

I think Michael Saylor has automated buys worth millions ready to go at minus ~30-50% levels... And loads of others do too... :D ...I think it's now a different ball game; the 2017 top was ~days, where it went into speculative mania... This time, we passed that previous 2017 ATH in ~November, it did dip back below but not by much, then by mid-December it was well clear of it, and we've had two large (~30%) corrections since, but it's never plummeted... There might be a speculative FOMO cycle peak this time round, and it might drop by 50-70% after... But if that means dropping from a top wick of $500K, back down to $200K... I don't mind that too much... Looking forward to Peter Schiff triumphantly declaring $200K Bitcoin "dead"! :D

For entertainment purposes only: What is the max % of liquid investable funds a 39 year old with no dependants should hold in BTC? Should you base this % on current value or invested cost value? This hypothetical person already owns but wants more and he doesn’t want to trim BTC as it outsizes his portfolio :)

He mentioned in one video that BTC should be no more than 5% of your liquid investable assets, I believe. Curious to know if that changes with individuals in a position to take more risks.
