The intro for the next Wrestle Kingdom, and I felt like I hadn't gotten any input on the story lately. Not directly anyway. So another in-story poll for the audience: which fighter should Manda have to wrestle on her own, leaving the other two for her teammates?

The girls met up in Manda’s room and compared notes. They had each gotten clues from their respective mermanagers that point them in the right direction of their fourth real human being stuck in the game. They pieced together that a group of bounty hunters calling themselves The Guardians had captured someone going by the nickname of “The MMA Bandit” and were bragging about their big score. Mollie checked her menu and sure enough, the new quest marker to “Investigate The Guardians” arose.

It led the three ladies to a simple-looking house in the middle of Grappleshire. Manda took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping inside. It looked like a fairly normal house for the setting, with lots of wood furniture and plainly decorated walls. The only things remarkable about it was the people standing in it. Three lightly armored women (a goblin, a demon, and a wrestle elf) stood huddled over a map, pointing and debating something in hushed tones. They looked up in surprise when the girls arrived.

“Hey! Whore you?!” the goblin barked.

“It’s supposed to be who’re you. Like who are you,” the succubus-looking woman corrected delicately.

“I care not who they are! Th’are but trespassers,” the buff elf proclaimed, standing up to her full height and thumping her fist into her palm.

“We just came looking into some quest shit, okay?” Manda complained.

Mollie started to blush already as Tess touched Manda’s shoulder and stepped forward.

“Ladies, please… we’re just investigating some rumors. We heard you had some major bounty on your hands. I’m sure they’re just the nastiest around, right?”

“Oh yea. Big jerk,” the goblin grunted as the Guardians seemed to cool down.

As things calmed, Manda got a better look at them. They wore the skimpy fantasy armor that was common around the pervy video game. The short, plump, dark green goblin had big purple twintails tied up behind her head. She wore a simple, tribal loincloth of animal fur and a top that was closer to a coconut bra made of armored plates. She had a lot of curves for something so small, and her beady eyes and sharp teeth gave her a wicked glare.

The elf was the largest of the three, tall and broad and ripped with bodybuilder muscle like every other wrestle elf Manda had encountered before. She wore a chainmail bikini that dangled off her toned body and full chest, barely covering the necessities above her thigh high boots. Her gold-colored hair hung loosely over her pointed ears, complimenting her fair skin. It also made a few dark tattoos of elven runes on one thick thigh and one arm. Another in English lined her collarbone reading “D’ianaris didn’t tap.”

The last bounty hunter seemed identical to what Manda would imagine as a succubus. She had short bat wings sticking out behind her back and a pointed tail coming out from under her black leather dress. She wore high-heeled boots and had dark, pinkish red skin with some short horns growing out from her silvery white hair. Big, cat-like yellow eyes batted at them as she hovered a couple inches off the ground. She had a killer hourglass figure that might have made Manda jealous if she didn’t imagine it came with something involving the words “pact” or “soul.”

“The MMA Bandit was known to ambush anyone she could and take advantage for easy wins,” the demon confirmed.

“Truly thy greatest of heel moves worthy of punishment and penalty,” the elf chimed in.

“T’were merely figuring out the fastest route to turn her in.”

Tess nodded patiently while sending a glance at the others.

“I see. I see. Well she jumped a friend of ours a while back and we were looking for her. Would you mind if we saw her before you threw her in jail? Just for closure and all.”

The three monstergirls stared at them for a moment. After a few seconds, they seemed to wordlessly reach the same conclusion and the elf gestured quickly towards the stairs.

“Natia! Leera! They are covetous of the bounty!”

The elf, demon and goblin all bolted for the stairs. Manda panicked and ran after them with Mollie and Tess in tow.

“Okay, I don’t like the looks of that!” Manda hissed as she struggled to keep up with them.

“Hold them off!” all three of the bounty hunters shouted in unison. They gave each other puzzled looks as they neared the top of the stops just as a menu popped up in front of Manda.

“Which one should Manda wrestle? Vote now! Mollie and Tessa will fight the rest.”

“Oh for fuck’s sake,” she groaned, rubbing her face. Their fleeing opponents suddenly stopped and waited patiently as they were stuck with the chat’s poll piling up between her and them.
