This “story’s” got a lot in common with Monster Essays. They’re super easy to write and for some reason really popular. The sex is basically all implied or skimmed over but it really paints a picture of the scenario.

I keep it all vague but it feels like the agency writing all this is independently owned like GhostBusters but has some kind of clearance to work like the SCP. Like the cops would call them like the fire department if a demon shows up or they can just investigate peoples’ houses with ghost scanners. Or block off a whole field indefinitely because of ghost raves (which might have been my favorite entry to write here). They’re my favorite kind of organization, which is that they barely know what they’re doing, which is a lot more than anybody else knows.

Designation: The Phantom Stripper

Discovered: Axl’s Skin Shack, November 7th 2012

Rank: C

Energy Levels: 820 PKs (Level 3)

Origins: deceased mortal

Classification: humanoid/ethereal

Threat Level: none

Allison Hartz is a spirit bound to a stripper pole and a portion of the stage at the burned down strip club formerly known as Axl’s Skin Shack. The subject was a dancer at the establishment when it burned down in 2009, with forensics finding that she had died in her sleep while passed out in a dressing room. Alison has since confirmed her identity with proper prompting. She is fully spectral and cannot actually touch solid matter, but can appear to do so.

Allison was a local legend in the area before agents investigated the rumors. On Sunday nights from 9pm to 9:30pm, the full figure of an attractive blonde woman with faint blue tints to her skin steps onto the stage in a long coat and high heels. She will perform a strip show incorporating levitation and passing through the pole. If none are present or she has no major reaction within this timeframe, she will whisper “Slow night” and step off stage, vanishing from the plane.

Allison appears to be in a semi-lucid state. She does not realize that she has died unless specifically explained to her. She is not particularly surprised by the news but will forget any such information the next time she vanishes. Research confirms that 9pm was the start of Miss Hartz’s shift when the club was open and she appears to believe she is simply working said job when she appears. The subject will wink, wave or flirt with mortals who applaud or approve of her show, which will slightly extend her time manifested.

Throwing or handing money to Allison will always grab her attention. Regardless of the amount, she will turn to the latest agent to pay her and direct her attention towards them. The more times she is paid, the longer she stays manifested. This has been done to the point where she has been present for over 30 hours before testing was resolved. This will include lap dances, motorboats and actual intercourse if one continues to pay the subject. While she cannot truly touch solid matter, Allison appears to show pleasure when touched or penetrated. Agent Collins reports a pleasantly warm sensation when inside her manifestation. Her manifestation appears to be a thin illusion. Agents who place their head through or into her skin find faint blue energy inside covered by several intangible layers of severely burned tissue.

Speculation and Theory

Allison has been transported to a holding facility by removing a part of her stage and the pole attached to it. This was done for the subject’s protection and study. Her routine continues within

the facilities with only a “pinhole” presence lingering on sensors when not on her “shift.” Subject appears to be unaware of her death and so remains locked in the cycle of expecting to be on stage. Agents find her to be pleasant company and her inability to do any more than warm up objects to safe temperatures show no sign of threat to others. Controlled testing shows that Allison is able to touch other spectral entities as if they were solid but does not regard them as “customers” and shows no interest in non-mortals.

Designation: The Cyclops

Discovered: Lyle Lane MA, April 19th 2019

Rank: B

Energy Levels: 19,033 PKs (Level 8)

Origins: unknown

Classification: humanoid/monstrous

Threat Level: minor

The Cyclops is a manifestation largely resembling the upper body of a pale human woman. The subject hovers with her head at a consistent six feet off the ground without outside reason to change this. Subject has thick and long white hair that agents report as silky and “comforting.” The subject’s face appears heavily damaged by unidentified claw marks; a large scar crosses over an empty eye socket and the other large, milky blue eye appears completely blind. She attempts to flee when exposed to sunlight despite causing her no apparent harm.

The Cyclops wanders in a state of distress, unbound to any particular location like a wandering animal. She appears to hold no particularly keen senses beyond a sense of touch. She floats blindly with inconsistent invisibility on moonlit nights, seeking context for where she is by finding anything to grab onto. Speaking appears to be difficult for her, prone to heavy mumbling or stammering and only responding while she can maintain physical contact. The subject has responded in broken English and several other languages over time but is slightly more comfortable speaking French or Greek.

Subject’s stress levels only decrease when in contact with something. Leaning against a wall or tree provides some level of comfort but the subject becomes excessively relieved to touch another person. Doing so leaves her obsessed with exploring the full form of the target, feeling their entire body while expressing extreme comfort and relief from any bodily contact. Subject will continue to grope indefinitely, and proves very strong for her damaged state. There appears to be no sense of common boundaries and will go on as long as she is not interrupted.

Speculation and Theory

The Cyclops herself has been contained for her own and others’ safety. Having her wandering like a loose balloon or a confused pigeon would only cause trouble. Research teams have found great success in rehabilitating her to a more healthy and comfortable state. A unique form of hearing aid was created for her in combination with spectral recorder technology and The Cyclops has gone from constantly afraid and mournful to delighted to have visitors to latch onto on a regular basis. Despite a grasp of language, the subject appears to have limited intelligence and has no apparent knowledge of her origins. The primary assumption remains that she was some spiritual manifestation that encountered a demon or otherwise hostile creature that permanently damaged its spectral form.

Designation: Nog Yog

Discovered: Perkins restaurant, southern Maine. February 16th, 2016

Rank: D

Energy Levels: 810 PKs (Level 2)

Origins: demonic

Classification: monstrous

Threat Level: minor

A mid-level servant demon resembling a floating monstrous head. She is a dark orange-red possesses horns of various size and shallow but long green hair. Subject has shown telekinesis capable of lifting around 75 lbs., exceptional vision that sees through most physical objects, and conjuration of flame. Nog was first reported raising chaos at a Perkins chain restaurant, emerging from an anomalistic rift in the kitchen. 3 injured, 1 dead between bite and burn wounds. Field agents were contacted by proper authorities and bound the demonic entity Nog Yog with standardized Ritual #13 conducted by Agent K. Lawson.

Nog is among the earliest of demons to be fully contained and converted to be cooperative with the division. Summoning is strictly regulated within the agency, so contacting demons long enough for a full binding ritual can be uncommon when extermination or banishment is available. Nog shows traits common to many servant demons; small stature, varied utilitarian powers, an eagerness to serve, and an easily tempered urge to do evil. Nog Yog has caused petty mischief with researchers in her proximity but to no permanent damage and minor precautions have prevented any continuation. Nog is capable of eating physical food but seems to gain no nourishment from it. Short-range comparison studied have shown that Nog subsists on the latent PKs generated by Lawson’s body, fueled by their binding pact. Lawson has granted temporary control over Nog by listing them as fellow masters, but the demon will always prioritize Lawson’s over any others. Her orders have caused Nog to consider self-harm and performed sexual favors on command, indicating its obedience is nearly limitless.

Speculation and Theory

The agency treats Yog with care, both in terms of affection and caution on when to deploy her. We have derived much information on the workings of demons from her, but she claims ignorance on many of the higher workings. This appears to be genuine, whether servant demons are not informed of such details or she is more deeply bound not to answer. Yog Nog shows nothing but happiness about her binding, as servant demons appear to be made to do as their name implies. Having a function and being told to be of use delight her even more than causing mayhem. Direct contact is not advised without Agent Lawson or another officially binding agent present as Yog does consider biting to be playful.

Designation: The Primitive

Discovered: Kansas, July 13th, 2019

Rank: C

Energy Levels: 1100 (Level 3)

Origins: deceased mortal

Classification: humanoid

Threat Level: moderate

A human spirit capable of physical interaction dressed in faux-animal skins. Reports varying from a missing link to an escape ape led to further investigation into the forests in Kansas. Agent J. Dark first encountered The Primitive before able to report in as it ambushed him, pinning and stripping him down before attempting to mate with him. Agents were able to track his communicator and apprehend the spirit.

The Primitive has been 90% confirmed as Allison Cooper, a grad-school student reported as dead after a car crash in 2017. This was after attending a Halloween party dressed as a cavewoman, presumably explaining her dress. Despite being a highly educated woman, Allison behaves like a prehistoric or borderline feral person. She is highly territorial and aggressive and has trouble forming basic words with no apparent understanding of them. While she is stronger than her build would imply, her physiology is still that of a modern human rather than any less-evolved ancestor. Allison responds to certain key words such as certain names and locations, implying some remnant of her actual life. Entrance to her cell is ill advised, but somehow volunteers keep arising. Allison is quick to assault them, pouncing and pinning them before conducting a thorough investigation. With most male volunteers, she will attempt to mate with them until either of them is exhausted. With what appear to be less virile males or females, she will more often harass and wrestle them to establish dominance until they attempt to flee.

Speculation and Theory

Allison’s descent into her state as The Primitive appears to be psychological rather than supernatural. Loss of memory or a sense of self is common among the dead, and being intoxicated during her Halloween party may have blurred this further. Awakening as a spirit wearing the loincloth from her party may have led to an incorrect assumption that she was a cavewoman. This may also be a deeply rooted notion of denial or belief that she has reincarnated into a past life. With her current responses being aggression and sex, the agency has little use of her beyond psychospiritual research on the mind of a ghost. Most volunteers return for more, so any disposal of her would likely reduce morale among the lower lab workers.

Designation: The Rave of the Dead

Discovered: American Midwest, July 22nd 2017

Rank: A

Energy Levels: up to 31,200 (Level 10)

Origins: unknown

Classification: haunt/humanoid/legion

Threat Level: notable/minor

The Rave appears to be a haunted location where numerous humanoid spirits gather on an unclear schedule. Its exact location is classified under Clearance 3 and has been blocked off to the public as a potential sinkhole site.

The site itself is normally an open space of approximately a half mile. Untapped PK readings can be found at all times but with no notable response in mortal or otherworldly entities. During what is referred to as “the show,” a large gathering of spirits (anywhere from 100 to an estimated 4500) appears with an ethereal green glow and partial translucence. They are initially intangible, but those who enter the grounds during a “show” can communicate with them freely. The longer one stays within its boundaries, they begin to change to match them by glowing and then turning ghostly themselves before seeming to lose track of time and self, joining in the festivities.

The gathering appears to be a high-spirited combination of a fair and concert. Participants have compared it to Woodstock, with ghosts of all ages and sizes enjoying each other’s company. Food and drink are shared among them through booths and cookouts with no notion of money being exchanged. Agents who linger long enough to join the revelry report it as a delightful and difficult to describe sense of lightheaded ecstasy. All who do so are quick to join in the exchange of sex, fair food, and what Agent Colins has reported as “ghost doobies.”

Other mortals are able to enter the grounds and interact with them as they start their own transformation, which appears to be the only means of convincing a fully converted soul to leave. Agent K. Walker was unable to be reached before the show ended (a loud vocal announcement is made by one of the apparent hosts shortly before). They vanished body and soul with The Rave and could not be recovered until the next occurrence, having no memory between the last festival.

The gathered spirits appear to be happy to be there and of all sorts. Human ghosts are by far the most common, some aware of their own demise while others are not. Demons, unknown entities or spirits of animals are sometimes spotted but they behave much like the humans (or as much as they are able).

A major point of interest is the stage. This aspect of the subject is always focused on by the gathering, and its performances are always given rapt attention and cheers. The show appears to be different on nearly every occurrence, and few have been fully identified.

Previous performers are as follows:

-a serpentine demonic entity. Its howling and hissing periodically shifted into siren-like song. Accompanied by a ghostly human drummer and bassist.

-a human ghost closely resembling a young Elvis Presley performing a small medley of his classics. They were identified as Elvis by the MC but agents are unable to confirm if genuine or a dead impersonator.

-classical German music plays as a group of 4 succubi strip on stage and enter an increasingly violent orgy before vanishing

-an intense sensation of cold followed by a figure in an ancient and battered hooded black cloak. They carry a scythe but set it aside before performing wordless acoustic guitar covers that the audience sings along to

-what appears to be a female, cartoonishly anthropomorphic but realistic fox dancing to techno music played over a large screen. Research has likely identified it as Michelle Rodriguez, a recently deceased Youtuber that appears to have spiritually attached to her iconic “fursuit.”

-the spectral forms of the band They Might Be Giants. Notable in that none of the performers are dead at the time of this report.

Speculation and Theory

The Rave is not on the location of any previous concert or major performance, suggesting otherworldly origins. This may be a singular manifestation of spiritual energy borrowed from several entities, but a mutual collaboration or meeting appears more likely. The level of accessibility to other creatures is unusual, both in that mortals can enter and leave and that demons and completely unknown creatures take the stage.

The reigning theory is that this is a gathering created by some otherworldly creature of significant power (deity?) with focus on the stage. Spirits it favors (or perhaps chose at random) are used as an audience for the sake of the performers. Something between Woodstock, Valhalla, and a single shining spotlight at the center of the multiverse. Agents debriefed after the show of the black specter privately confirmed that they believed it to be Death itself. They Might Be Giants agreed to respond to our questions but had no recollection of such a show. Theories vary from them conducting a ritual and remaining ignorant, their spirits being pulled from their bodies in their sleep, or simply mimics or shapeshifting spirits using their form and voice.
