Tama's Journey West 3: The River of Wu (Patreon)
Content
The new girl Wu was definitely the toughest of the main party to design for this story. Sha Wujing has a really mixed reputation based on the story. In the original, he’s set up as this huge badass of a general turned demon who swears to serve the monk. Since he joins later than the rest and officially is never as strong as the monkey king, he kind of doesn’t do a lot but be a jobber (losing fights to make Son Wukong look cooler).
I went through a lot of ideas and tweaks, most of which went into the final story here. She was originally going to be a cultist monk, her religion clashing with our hero’s here and there. I kept the concept but made her into something else completely. I decided to change up the power levels between the party to how I like my stories to be: give or take a character, anyone in the series can beat anyone. Depending on the situation and the time of day, Sonya, Zha-Ye and Wu could fare better than the other. But all at their peak, raw power always goes to the new girl. For reasons you’ll see.
The story’s really fun and episodic, so likely to pick up more soon. I really liked messing with all their designs so expect the four pilgrims here to be on the next months’ art poll.
With the addition of a second companion, Tama’s trip across the Monster Territories became much more interesting. There was no mistake that Zha-Ye made for excellent company. She and Sonya had swiped a few luxuries before they had to flee her castle, so whenever Sonya would catch some new wild beast for dinner, Zha would insist on cooking it herself. As indulgent as she was, the piggish woman knew her way around a meal and made some of the best food Tama had ever tasted.
There was also the change in their… sleeping schedule. The shorter daylight hours in the Monster Territories meant they camped often, not willing to leave the young monk vulnerable to ambush in the darkness where monsters and spirits lurked more freely. These longer stays in the camp left Sonya and Mama Zha plenty of time to sort out their personal schedules and ensure that each of them got their taste of Tama every night or morning (based on their rotation). They were both tainted enough by the lands that the pure seed of a young monk’s cum was euphorically addictive, causing them to sneak in a quick blowjob if not a full-on fuck session whenever they could.
They were a few days from Zha-Ye’s old castle when Tama began to hear the rushing of water. He raised his head from the back of his horse, which he became more and more grateful for having. He wasn’t sure he’d be able to walk this far even without two powerful monstergirls fucking him each day.
“Is that a waterfall?” he asked curiously. There were a few small and decorative ones on the mountain temple where he’d grown up.
“You wish,” Sonya scoffed. “That’s another mile away. The River Wu is not one you wanna fuck around with.”
“Can rivers be that loud?” Tama asked, looking in the direction of the noise as best he could figure out. Zha pointed helpfully ahead of them, but he still couldn’t make it out.
“This one can. The last I’d heard, the rapids were so fierce that not even a crane could fly over its waters without being snatched up by a wave.”
Tama winced at the mental image. “Do we need to cross it?”
“It’s that or we add another… 5ish days to our trip,” Sonya admitted. “And it’s too wide for even me to jump over if I have to carry you dorks. Fortunately, there’s one way across. There’s the Sisters of Sakai who have some kind of connection with the river that lets them cross it safely if they find the traveler worthy.”
Tama sighed. “Let me guess. They want you to prove yourself in combat or bribe them and they’re a gang of bandits.”
Sonya tilted her head in thought for a moment, as if still deciding if he was right.
“Actually… they’re decent people in the end. All you have to do is be polite and patient with them while they consult their deity. I was like ‘fuck that’ and jumped over it myself, but they’re more your kind of people, monky boy.”
The actual monkeygirl gave a chittering snicker as Tama’s expression dropped into pleasant surprise. Politeness, patience, religion… he was perfectly at home with all of these.
---
A structure somewhere between a small fortress and a temple was built beside the River Wu. Even before the building itself, Tama could see the raging waters of the river. There were dramatic paintings of rough rapids in the historical scrolls of the temple, but this looked like a brutal storm in the ocean contained within a wide river. Tama watched as a large boulder from somewhere upstream came rolling down, dragged by its powerful waters before being crushed to rubble from a falling wave.
The Daughters of Wusai were strange but harmless as they approached. That was to say that they made no moves to be aggressive beyond some readiness as the party approached. The women themselves were clearly warrior monks, over 6 feet tall and packed with muscle. Their skin was completely dark blue and marked with black tattoos that highlighted their powerful limbs. Their hair was a deep, regal purple, whether from dye or corruption, and tied into a single tight braid. They wore heavy leather clothing with pads of metal for extra protection that never seemed to impede on their movements while showing much of their proud blue figures. Their bodies were clearly as much a temple as their actual temple.
A pair of them were standing guard in front of the structure while a few more traveled through the upper floors.
“State your business,” one of the stern sisters demanded. She gripped a particularly long polearm, but she only tightened her grip rather than raising it. Her red eyes focused on Tama with a brief scowl before looking back to the others. Sonya cracked her knuckles readily.
“Alright, here’s the-”
She was ready to lay out a threat when Zha stepped forward first.
“Hail, sister! Glory to Wusai!” Zha-Ye greeted cheerily as she threw out her arms. She grabbed the nearest monk in a bearhug and clapped her on the back.
The blue women’s demeanor quickly broke open as the hugged one smiled toothily and hugged her back.
“Hail then! I did not know we had a believer on their way,” she welcomed.
“I wouldn’t say I worship directly, but she lives in our hearts and guided us here on our pilgrimage. I’ve been through before long ago, and my friends and I simply wish to cross your river, as dangerous as it is beautiful, once again.”
Tama found himself staring at the situation. He had been with Sonya long enough that he felt like diplomacy wouldn’t even be an option, especially with the harsh nature of the territory’s locals. Zha was likely bluffing and acting for all she was worth, but her jovial nature seemed to quickly come in handy.
“I understand completely. But you must know we would need you to undergo the trial again,” the other guard explained.
“Oh naturally!” Zha-Ye gushed in mock understanding. “But this is the first visit for my companions, so would you mind explaining it for their sake?”
The blue guard nodded. “Of course. You will spend a day within the temple with our sisters, subsisting on only rice cake and water. This will allow you Wu to judge and purify you for the journey.”
“Oh… naturally. Not a problem.”
Tama could see Zha-Ye’s smile crack in the corner of her round cheeks. The idea of not feasting for a day sounded awful for her.
“Sake counts as water, right?” Sonya asked, raising her hand behind her broader companion.
“Pure water and rice cake,” the guard repeated with a more serious look at the monkeygirl.
“Ugh! Fine.” Sonya held out her drinking gourd and turned it upside down. She dumped a large puddle of the stuff out before waving it in a sarcastic gesture to show it was emptied.
“I don’t know what you’re all complaining about,” Tama said as he climbed off his horse.
“We would fast for days at a time in meditation training. It’s nothing too hard when you get used to it.”
The nearest monk snorted indignantly as she scowled at him. He froze under her nasty look.
“You think Wu will be merciful to you, outsider? Our temple has worshipped our matron goddess for over a century and you make light of our faith?”
Tama’s eyes went wide and he shook his head.
“No! Noooo. I respect your practices! My god Vao always says that there are many ways of thinking and I would never be one to judge someone’s practices!”
The other monk scoffed as she shook her head.
“You offend her sight merely by bringing man blood inside her walls. But we are not the ones to judge. That is for Wu.”
---
The inside was mostly what they expected. A large but simple, spartan building four stories tall with the dull roar of w. The center was an open area that went all the way to the ceiling, the rooms and floors above lining the outside. The warrior women kept themselves busy wherever he looked, clearly much more martial than mental in their monkhood. They pounded on pillars of wood or stone for practice, sparred with one another, or thoroughly cleaned the interior. Even the latter involved some of them acrobatically hanging by their legs from the railings to scrub beneath the upper floors’ beams.
Most notably, a demon towered over them all. A two-story tall monster of deep blue, fish-scaled skin stood with its barbed head reaching between the upper floors. Oily black hair draped down in sheets and its overly fleshy body had a drooping belly and sagging breasts that made it vaguely female. Four clawed, nearly skeletal arms spread out in mid-attack at the front door, its mouth open wide enough to fit three men inside its fanged jaws. Skulls of unknown creatures too large to be human were threaded through the sockets in a grim necklace on an ancient and weathered chord. Four glassy red eyes glared hatefully at the newcomers, getting Tama to jump and shriek like a girl in surprise.
“Praises to Wusai,” the lead monk said solemnly before glaring back at Tama over her shoulder.
“Sorry,” he added sheepishly. “I didn’t realize you all worshiped… that.”
The monk rolled her eyes and walked ahead briskly. Tama took a moment to confirm the body wasn’t moving before he walked ahead. It was far too lifelike to just be a statue, but it didn’t budge an inch.
“Good to see that the mighty Wu is still in good condition,” Zha-Ye complimented as she followed along.
Tama gave Sonya a worried look. The monkeygirl nodded towards the stationary demon, made a slitting motion across her throat, and rolled her eyes while sticking out her tongue to vividly explain it was dead.
“Felled by a mighty warrior 173 years ago,” the monk explained proudly. “Even as she perished, she remained standing and menacing. She taught us that the body can overcome nearly anything, even death itself. We built our temple around the pureblood demon’s body. In a literal sense as well as spiritual. So we can be reminded to remain pure and strong to reach a fraction of her glory.”
“Good… good…” Tama muttered. Perhaps it was so many creatures trying to attack him since he’d arrived or the horror stories he’d heard from older monks, but he kept waiting for the demon’s corpse to lash out at him.
The strike never came, but he remained uneasy. Even as he got used to the ominous presence, the monks all watched him with mixed reactions. They all saw him and scowled, whether his differing religion or the fact he was a man offended them. Or maybe they all looked like that as a practice. Either way, it didn’t tend to last. They either ignored him or, when they got within a few yards of him, he could hear their curious sniffing at the air.
The trio were led to their rooms, which were just as simply laid out as the rest of the temple. Bedrolls and pillows were left out for them, and the only decorations around the room were paper lanterns and a small collection of weapons mounted on the walls.
“Well I can’t speak for the rest of you,” Zha-Ye said as she set down her few belongings.
“But I simply must try out these rice cakes they were talking about. I want to be especially pure for Wu’s judgement, after all.”
Her stomach growled as she promptly followed the nearest monk to the kitchen. Sonya flicked their door shut behind her with her tail and took out her gourd. She’d emptied it earlier but she uncorked it and took a drink.
“So it IS bottomless,” Tama guessed as she gulped it down.
The chimpish woman smirked and gulped loudly.
“Duh. I’m not giving up my hooch for these crackpots.”
“But it’s part of the ceremony,” the boy insisted.
“Don’t worry. I’m a pro at hiding how drunk I am. They won’t know the difference.”
She took another swig of her jug and offered it to Tama. He frowned at it in worry.
“You know this is all bullshit, right? Like… every worship of everything basically is? Do you seriously think that a dead monster wanted a bunch of crazy ladies to be like it when its corpse is right out there? You think some kind of god of fire or whatever is going to not let you into his secret clubhouse when you die because you ate the wrong kind of fish once?”
“But the gods are real!” Tama insisted. “Their miracles and teachings and magic. There’s proof all over!”
Sonya shrugged and leaned back in her bedroll, helping herself again.
“I ain’t saying they’re not real. I’m saying you underestimate how stupid people can be. Look at me!” She gestured broadly at the air.
“I’m drinking in a temple that said not to drink! Pretty stupid, huh?”
Tama furrowed his brow. “But you just said it didn’t matter if you drank because their demon god wouldn’t notice.”
Sonya tilted her head thoughtfully for a minute. “Huh… shit, maybe I am drunker than I thought. Let’s talk about something else.”
Tama shrugged. “Where did you get that gourd? It really never runs out?”
“It has to refill sometimes,” she admitted. “But basically bottomless. All you can drink booze! Won it off an oni in a drinking contest.”
“Aren’t they legendary drinkers and giants?”
“Not as big as four-arms downstairs, but they’re big,” Sonya nodded.
“But they’re dumb as a rock getting its dick sucked. And that’s the real trick to it. See we each got a big pile of bottles and bowls we had to chug empty. Whoever passed out first lost and the winner got the magic gourd. And by drink number 53…”
“FIFTY THREE!?” Tama blurted.
“Maybe more. I lost count a couple times,” Sonya confessed.
“But I was really feeling it. So I do a little tail trick…”
She wiggled her tail. “And I put the bottomless gourd next in his row. I down my cup of rum and he just keeps chugging and chugging for like… five minute without realizing something’s up. Then finally just keels over and I stagger out of that jungle with my prize.”
“That’s an impressive story,” Tama admitted. “You’re smarter than people give you credit for.”
“I ain’t smart. I’m crafty,” she said with a grin. “I’m just good at figuring out how to get what I want. Like that move I do with my toes when we’re spending the night…”
Sonya reached out with one of her legs, slipping her opposable toes beneath Tama’s robes. He blushed as she promptly found his starting erection, squeezing it tightly and giving it a few slow strokes. Sonya scooted closer, the buff monkeygirl pressing her breasts against him as her tail joined her extended foot. The fluffy appendage stroked up between Tama’s balls to let its teasing touch bubble up and leak out of his cock.
“I don’t know if this is the time,” Tama muttered in a feeble effort to intervene before his dick took over thinking for him.
“We’ve got a day to kill. What else we gonna do to kill the time?” Sonya giggled.
She pulled Tama by the arm and seated him in her lap. Her dexterous feet circled around his waist and tugged open his robes, drawing out his cock and stroking it between her nimble toes. Sonya started to kiss and nibble at his neck, taking a few slow licks to enjoy his flavor. The monk shivered in her grasp as he leaned his head back between her breast and shoulder.
Sonya looped her tail around her hips and wrapped it around his shaft. She freed up her feet to grab and pry his legs apart. Tama gave a soft cry as her strong arms held him tight and the warm, fluffy tail jerked him off. The monk squirmed as he did his best to remain quiet and avoid suspicion, even as Sonya giggled in his ear.
“What’s the matter, choir boy? They put you back in a temple and you think you’re too pure to enjoy this? You love it, ya little perv. You’re my dirty little pet monk and you’re so cute and horny all the damn time. Doesn’t it feel to desecrate the temple of some bullshit monster in the name of your vows or whatever? Come and squirt for me, little man. Gimme that good sticky shit, you pure little cum slut.”
Tama gave a short, quivering moan as his body jerked, but he was held in place by Sonya’s firm grasp. He shot a short, thick burst of cum onto the monkeygirl’s tail amidst her giggling and teasing.
“Iiii knew it,” she purred as she finally unwrapped her tail. She let his goo ooze onto it before raising it to her lips, popping the tip into her mouth. She hummed contently as she seemed to phelate it, relishing in the taste of the holy young man’s cum no matter how many times she had it like the sweetest of honeys.
“Fuck, that’s good,” she sighed contently. She ran a hand through her short, thick hair as she rose to her feet.
“But now you got me all hungry. I’m gonna crash in on Z-girl and see if she’s helping herself to the food or the kitchen staff. As soon as I find their toilet anyway…”
“I feel like this happens a lot,” Tama pointed out to her.
“Hm?”
“I end up somewhere full of monster people and you get distracted or have to go to the bathroom.”
Sonya smirked and raised her gourd again, giving it a shake.
“Downside of having unlimited booze and a liver that could digest a viper. Besides, you’ll be fine. You’ve been fine this whole time. You’re with your own kind, churchy.”
Sonya opened the door swiftly, startling a monk that was standing in front of the door. The silk and iron-wrapped woman stepped back promptly, bowing at the confused monkeygirl. She clutched a few blankets to her chest.
“Oh! Sorry to disturb!” she blurted out.
For how grizzled the warrior women had been when he’d first arrived, the blue woman seemed quite modest all of a sudden. Tama blushed as he realized what she might have heard through the thin paper doors.
“I was sent to offer you fresh blankets. We realize our humble livings may not be standard for common travelers.”
“That’s alright. The accommodations are lovely,” Tama said, keeping his back turned until he could secure his robes and underwear. He spun around quickly and did his best to suppress his blush.
“But we appreciate the gesture.”
“I won’t turn it down,” Sonya said, taking the blankets and tossing them at her bed.
The monk stared at her curiously before she sniffed the air.
“But I have to ask… what is that smell?”
“Hm? Oh! I uh… had a couple drinks before I came in,” Sonya excused. “Must still be on my clothes.”
“No, it’s not that,” the monk said, clearly distracted. She looked past Sonya and sniffed at the room.
“It smells like you’re cooking something delicious.”
The buff woman licked her lips and Sonya quirked an eyebrow back towards Tama. She thumbed the edge of her lips to see if she had left any of his cum on her mouth.
“Y’know, I think we still had some rations in our bag,” she said with an impish grin.
“I’m sure Tammy here wouldn’t mind sharing.”
She seemed glad to have the attention off her cheating diet and wandered off to explore the temple. Tama caught her making faces at the petrified demon corpse as the Amazonian guard entered the room and shut the door.
“So is it true, Brother Tama?” she asked. This woman was similar to the others; she seemed stuck in the prime of her life and was much taller than he was. Her hair was tied in a thick, large bun and her tattoos resembled ink blots rather than the mismatching lines and brush strokes that most of them wore.
“I mean… she was definitely drinking earlier,” Tama confessed, doing his best to remain honest while wanting to continue their journey.
“And we may have some bean buns left in our bags. But I never touched them and I promise you I haven’t broken my fast. I’ve offended you all enough with my presence.”
“You mean Sister Djang at the gates? She exaggerates,” the new monk assured him. “Wu was a ferocious fighter and slew many men before a monk bested her. She has a reputation of being anti-men and we Daughters only allow women into our order, so male travelers are often intimidated from visiting. There should be nothing that prevents you from entering and worshiping her might...”
The female monk sniffed the air again, leaning closer to him until her large, bound breasts bumped against Tama’s shoulder.
“Or body… I’m sorry, but you have such an interesting smell about you. Almost...”
Her strong hands pressed against the young man’s chest, rubbing curiously. “Almost like I can taste it…”
“I uh… well you know how it is. Monks in the tainted land. I’m told I have a unique flavor to those who live here too long.”
“Oh. I have been at the temple my entire life!” The monk touched her own chest, making Tama’s eyes wander to the firmly taut bosom.
“I was one of many rescued children brought here. We have maintained ourselves as strictly female worshipers for so… so long,” she mused, her eyes glazing over a bit as she wavered in place. It was the closest thing to vulnerable Tama had ever seen on one of the Daughters.
“We live long enough that we need not mate, but… now that you’re actually here, I...”
The female monk leaned in and breathed deeply, taking a long sniff of Tama’s hair.
“I think this is why Vao never upheld vows of chastity…”
He barely got his utterance out before the woman leapt face-first into his lap.

One of the smaller of the warrior women that worked in the kitchen was laid up on a table. She was stripped of her armor, fists clenching and gasping with each breath. Moaning loudly between her legs, Zha-Ye’s thick tongue stroked up and inside her pussy as her greedy hands squeezed her breasts. She shivered eagerly as the plump swindler smiled up at her.
“Such a sweet little peach you are. Which reminds me about this fasting. Surely this doesn’t taint our agreement, as the bodies of you and your beautiful sisters are pure.”
She planted another long, wet and tonguey kiss between her legs, making the monk wail in pleasure as she teased her clit and left bold red lipstick marks on her dark blue skin.
“But I was thinking, is stew not water at its core? The ingredients are simply added…”
“Shit, mama!” Sonya laughed as she kicked the door shut behind her.
“You trying to get out of this shit already?”
Zha-Ye lifted her head from the panting young woman’s loins, putting a hand to her chest in mock offense.
“Why I was only discussing philosophy. I thought it was the purpose of these meditative exercises. Isn’t that right, my little blue beauty?”
Zha turned and gave another rapid series of licks, flicking the naked monk’s clit as she let out another shrill whine.
“Yes, Mama Zha!” she blurted needily.
“There’s a good girl.”
“Yea, well see what I care. I’m here for a snack to go with my spiritual whatchamacallit.”
Sonya took a while to sort through their food before she found a barrel of rice bigger than her torso. She effortlessly hefted it over her shoulder and finally strode back out into the main hall to decide where to eat it. She was surprised to see the many Daughters that had been training or cleaning seemed strangely reduced. Less than half the ones she saw coming in were still around.
One of the younger monks (which was to say somewhere in her mid-twenties) went running past before Sonya lashed out with her tail. She pulled on her ankle and tripped her off her feet.
“Hey, big blue ox. Where you headed?” Sonya asked impatiently.
“Oh! I just… I’d heard that our visitor had some… er, wise things to say about the gods. We don’t often get holy men around…”
Sonya eyed up the all-blue girl. Clearly part of the tainted lands, so clearly packing the same urges. She grinned wickedly as the pieces came together.
“Goootcha. He’s got what you ladies need. Well don’t let me stop ya. I’m sure he’s got all kinds of wisdom to share.”
The monk nodded eagerly and hurried to a nearby pillar. She scaled it rapidly and flipped over the railing onto the next floor, just to find a small crowd of her sisters already gathered in front of Tama’s door. They variously chattered and murmured and gawked in at him, but all of them were periodically sniffing at the air.
The young man had a curious smell about him that the sisters were starting to compare to spiced meat or strong wine. He seemed to smell different to everyone. Whatever it was to them, the smell was stronger than ever and their urge to taste it became irresistible the more time passed and the more it was exposed to them.
And it was very exposed. Tama was laying back on his futon with a half dozen amazon monks all piled on top of him and more waiting in line. One brawny sister rode on his face, grinding her soaking pussy on his face with her eyes shut in raw, bestial bliss. Her privates smeared over his face until her cum squirted over his nose and lips, feeding him her lusty musk.
Two more rode on his cock, their vaginas mashed together like a soaking wet kiss with his dick in between them. Their hips bumped up and down, their thick blue muscles bulging and rolling in heated motion. A fourth monk was shamelessly kneeling in between them, kissing and sucking on his balls like they were covered in the most addictive of drugs. Tama’s seed would shoot up in between them and the mere feeling and smell of the pure man’s cum made their wail in ecstasy. It caked their sweaty abs and the trio would fall off him, feverishly licking his semen off each other while fresh amazons took their place.
The others were so blinded by their lust that they would lick anywhere they could reach for a hint of his holy musk. Some sucked on his fingers while others shoved them inside their pussies. His purity seemed to radiate pleasure wherever it went, and Tama was too overwhelmed with pleasure to even try stopping any of them.
Enough of the women had swarmed around his room for one of the older sisters to take notice. The Warmistress Yao stormed up in her thick robes and sandals, all heavy with gold and iron to show her strength and status. It was the only real sign of her status as the ageless blue women
“What is the meaning of this!?” she demanded.
The women looked up respectfully at her sharp tone, but their attention wavered almost instantly. It was like the warmistress called for order while they were drowning in liquor.
“The man,” one of the monks sighed dreamily. “Never have I… MMM~!”
She pressed her mouth into Tama’s exposed shaft as soon as one of her sisters removed herself from it. A second monk moved in to join her, kissing her with the soaking wet shaft temptingly between their tongues.
“In all my meditations, I’d never imagined such wonderful taste!” another raved.
Yao frowned sternly at her cult. She thumped a weighted sandal on the hard wood of the floor for attention she couldn’t keep.
“Now see here, sisters! In all the years of The Daughters of Wusai, I have never seen such a lack of control! Wu herself would spit at such weakness! If she were… um… she would…”
Yao’s eyes fluttered as she took a few more breaths of the air, tainted by sex and the sweat of her sisters and the pure young man. It hit the demon-worshiping cult like holy incense, weakening their focus on the powerful monster watching over them. Even the warmistress licked her lips. With a wary glance over her shoulder at the demon’s body, she stepped inside the doors and slid them shut before removing her robes.
“But I suppose our order was a bit vague on the ways of men,” she muttered as she bared herself and moved to join the pile.
Tama had lost all track of time as he came again and again for the women who used him like a shared drug. It wasn’t until he heard the deep creaking of the wood outside his room that he managed to glance past some of the wall of blue flesh on top of him. He tilted his head around one of the lean, muscled breasts to see the doorway cracking, the paper and wood tearing under some unseen pressure.
“S-Sonya. If you’re trying to get in…” Tama panted breathlessly. One of the sisters eagerly embraced his open mouth and he took a moment to kiss her deeply back.
“The door slides left, not-”
The door, this time, opened inward. A withered hand half the size of the entire room smashed through it, slowly but forcefully clawing its way inside. The sisters gasped and screamed as their orgy was only interrupted by the immediate threat on their lives.
“Foooolish…” a dry and dusty voice rasped. The sisters gawked out the shattered door to see the corpse of their demonic deity shifting stiffly. Its empty eyes rolled like marbles in its skull as ancient, unused skin and bone crumbled off it like dust.
“Blaspheme against your dark goddess,” it droned on as the corpse of Wu began to grasp and tear at the railings around their floor.
The sisters broke into a panic, running and screaming. A few noisily pleaded with the raging demon but her massive, sluggish swipe at them made them reconsider and run for it. Wu certainly didn’t look like the forgiving type, even if her actual involvement in the faith was unclear.
Tama scrambled up to his shaky legs, pulling his robes on quickly. The awakened Wu did not seem especially aware or coordinated, or at least not yet. He stayed in the back of the room until he saw a reddish blur shoot through the air as Sonya kicked it in its giant face.
“Haha! Bout time, you fatass mummy!” the monkeygirl cackled. She landed balancing easily on a railing, sticking out her tongue at the disoriented giantess.
“You look like you’re still remembering how to walk, let alone fight. I’m sure you’d make a neat little trophy!”
Wu gave an undiscernible snarl and swung a claw at Sonya. She easily bounded out of the way, but the force of its swing sent a shockwave tearing through the building. Tama gawked upward as the blow shattered half the top floor and blew away a chunk of the roof before splitting several clouds in half above them.
“Master Tama!” Zha-Ye greeted cheerily. She popped in front of the doorway, reaching out with the golden rake she’d salvaged from her zen garden. She hooked it around Tama’s back and reeled the monk in like a particularly tall poker chip as she snatched up their bags.
“I do hope it’s alright with you if we leave a bit early. They seem to have bigger problems to deal with than our little ferry ride.”
Tama glanced up at Sonya. She leapt over the monster’s head and struck rapidly, leaving cracks in Wu’s dried out skin and bones with her bamboo staff. One of its upper arms swatted at her just short, shattering another ton or so of wood from the shrine.
“Do you think we could convince her to stop fighting?” Tama asked skeptically.
“I did a bit of asking around,” Zha explained as she tugged Tama into her arms. She held him close as they ran down the stairs, practically carrying him.
“Apparently the river rages because that was where the demon Wu once threw a punch. The sisters called her a pureblood earlier, meaning she’s a true demon and not just a corrupted person like myself or Sonya. Even the monkey knows you simply do not battle a pureblood. They are simply… not the same.”
Sonya dodged another slash just as Wu opened its jaws. A spray of golden sand shot from its gaping mouth, getting Sonya to squeak and run rapidly along the railings as it flooded much of the building.
“Okay! I’m ready to bail!” she shouted to the others as she ran to intercept them.
The trio of travelers burst out through the back gates of the temple, left face to face with the raging river. A very solid dock of stone and steel held strong against it, with several large rowboats held on with massive chains.
“How are we going to cross all this!?” Tama yelled over the tide.
“We don’t,” Sonya decided. She pointed at one of the boats.
“Get in.”
Zha’s eyes gleamed with recognition, but she wordlessly hurried in with their monk in tow. Sonya remained on the dock as she grabbed the boat on both sides. With a hearty grunt, she lifted it over her head with her companions inside.
“Hold on tight! Or don’t! I’m not in charge of you. Authority is fake and the government is a lieeee!”
Sonya hurled them with all her might at the end of her rant. The boat soared through the air as Tama screamed, but it was more in surprise and amusement than fear. The fact that he’d just slept with roughly twenty women in rapid secession might have something to do with how much more relaxed he was.
Their boat came crashing down halfway across the river. It wobbled but held firm among the high waves as Sonya leapt after them and landed in the boat.
“See? We’re not crossing the entire river, cuz that’d be suicide,” Sonya explained.
“We’re only crossing half of it,” Zha-Ye chuckled. “Which is only half a suicide. Sounds perfectly survivable, don’t you think?”
“If you can pull your damn weight!” Sonya snapped at her. She drew her staff and swung it, smashing the next incoming wave into a harmless spray.
“That’s quite a lot of weight to pull,” Zha chuckled jovially. “But I’ll see what I can do. Would you be so kind as to start rowing, my precious little Tama?”
Zha gave a hefty swing with her rake and dashed another wave before it could strike down their little vessel. The inhumanly strong women smashed and deflected waves as Tama hastily grabbed the oars. He quickly got the hang of rowing out of necessity, paddling them further towards the opposite shore.
With his back to their goal, he got a fine view of the temple. The sisters fled it as Wu herself stormed her way through the walls. She waded into the river that barely came up to her waist, stomping after them. A few waves hit her mummified flesh, making it sparkle with a fresher blue. The horned monstrosity scowled with its dried out eyes before it dipped into the water, vanishing like a colossal shark.
“That can’t be good,” Tama fretted. Sonya and Zha were too busy with the waves to notice at first. Their first clue came in a dull rumble beneath the water. Their boat didn’t creak or shake any more than it already was, but the waves all stopped a second later. The river slowed to a calm trickle, the water lazily lapping at the side of their boat.
“What was that about?” Zha-Ye asked.
“I think she’s finishing what she started with the river,” Tama squeaked quietly. He dared to peek over the edge of the boat and saw a bizarrely long and pointed skull bob to the surface of the water. He reeled back in horror, clinging to the boat before realizing how much smaller it was. The heads on Wu’s necklace had been the size of his entire body, not like large stones.
A blue hand gripped the boat, but it was far more mundane in size. It got them to jump before looking confused as another blue woman climbed onto the boat, clearly similar but somehow more than any of the monks they had met before.
Her dark blue skin was nearly the only thing in common with the sisterhood. She was tall and broad shouldered like a working woman rather than the fitness-focused monks that followed her. She shook out her wet hair, the incredibly long and tangled black locks whipping against her thickly muscled skin and dangled in thin strands over her face. She shaved her head around her temples while the dripping mane hung over the rest. She wore tight wraps up to her knees and a ragged skirt that barely reached her thighs, giving an easy view of the tall woman’s thong-like fundoshi. She remained topless, but the necklace of large skulls seemed to have shrank down with her to cover up high and full breasts’ nipples with their twisted grins. Her red eyes blinked rapidly for a moment before a second, narrower pair opened above them. Yellow tattoos ran from her cheeks down over her collar bone in long, slash-like lines.
“Ah… the great and powerful Wu, I presume,” Zha-Ye spoke up as the stranger settled herself on the boat. “Feeling refreshed after your swim, are we?”
“Yeh… HUCCCK!”
The buff blue demoness made a gagging noise as she held out a hand. She spat what appeared to be an entire, sticky human arm bone into her hand. She grimaced and threw it into the water carelessly.
“How long was that in there?” she asked in a low woman’s voice. She shook her head and turned to glare her four eyes back at them.
“I take it you three are responsible for ruining my slumber?”
“We were only accepting hospitality!” Zha defended with a look of feigned shock. Sonya just furrowed her brow and held her staff readily.
“I couldn’t imagine that would wake you.”
“I’ll be honest,” Tama spoke up. “I have no idea what happened in there. Or out here. The girls came to bring us blankets, then one of them started kissing me…”
“That will do,” the muscular demon said, raising a halting hand.
“As you may have guessed, I am the demon Wu. It’s all a bit much to explain, but the short of it was their worship kept me alive on the brink of death. I gathered fractions of my strength over the years until the disturbance woke me from my petrified state.”
“That’s good then!” Zha-Ye piped in. “You’re very welcome!”
“I was enjoying that rest,” Wu said with her serious expression unchanging.
Zha just cleared her throat and looked away.
“Cleansing in the river always was the best way to refresh myself. Nothing a quick swim couldn’t wake me up from. But I cannot forgive your disrespect to my power and will. Even…”
Wu frowned and glanced back at the temple and the staring amazon monks.
“If I didn’t actually tell them to worship me or give them any of their rules. But their hearts were in the right place. They I can forgive for a century of worship, but you… I will see if your flesh is as tasty as they claim after boiling it into a stew.”
Tama saw Sonya and Zha exchanged hesitant glances. With a sudden shout, the monkeygirl jabbed her staff into the boat and pole vaulted into a leaping kick. The unphased demon gave a quick backhand that sent her flying all the way to the other side of the river, landing unmoving with a heavy thud and a puff of sand.
“You know, I actually never was very-” Zha-Ye began to ramble before suddenly striking the butt of her rake. Its tongs swung up with the leverage of the boat’s seats and bashed into Wu’s groin in a way that made Tama wince.
Wu remained unphased.
“I’m going to assume that was an attack,” she said plainly. Zha’s eyes went wide and started to blurt out an excuse when the powerhouse grabbed her by the back of the head. She spiked her face into the bottom of the boat, knocking her silly before flinging her into the water. The river had been stricken so still that she floated in a groaning dizzy state on her back beside the boat, unmoved by the stilled tide.
“And the desecrating monk himself,” Wu said, cracking her knuckles. “Why is it always monks?”
“W-wait!” Tama said as he thought quickly. He remembered what little reading there was at his temple about demons, and cross referenced it with what he’d seen of the monks, the Monster Territories and Sonya’s tale about outdrinking the oni.
“What if I offer you a challenge?”
Wu paused and stared unmoving. She crossed her muscular arms over her barrel chest, clearly interested.
“I’m small of body, so I could not beat you in a fight. It wouldn’t be fair…”
He read Wu’s blank expression for a moment. “And it would be too dull for a powerful demon like yourself.”
She smiled at that. Playing to the worshiped warrior’s pride was clearly in his favor.
“But, as a dark goddess like yourself, you must be of incredible strength of will. As I’m trained in the temple all my life, I’ve been taught devotion and focus of my own. What would you say to a contest of wills over my body and soul?”
“Interesting…” Wu replied, tapping her foot on the boat. “And what would I wader?”
“The same. You would become my protector. At least enough to see me through the Monster Territories, just like the women you uh… threw. And spare them as well!” he added hastily.
Wu tapped her chin thoughtfully. “I don’t know…”
“Well considering there is no greater warrior in the land than yourself,” Tama went on, laying it on thick. “Even if I were to cheat you out of a win, you would be able to stop anything you wish. But I’m not even a fully trained monk yet. You would have no problem making a weary priest bow and worship before your might and beauty.”
Tama decided to drop it there before he made himself feel too pathetic to win. The demoness grinned widely with her many shark-like teeth.
“Agreed. Then the first to kneel before the other yields.”
“With no touching!” Tama added. “It is a test of mind, not bodies.”
“Of course, of course,” Wu laughed dismissively. Her red eyes gleamed with glee.
“Then begin.”
The ancient demon and the scholarly young monk stared at each other for a few moments. Wu didn’t budge as she smirked at him, muscles bulging and fangs flashing in promise of what awaited him if he lost. Her chest flexed and swelled, making the skulls of dead monsters clatter like wooden blocks over her breasts.
“Worship me,” the voice whispered somewhere in his head. “Fall to her. Yield your soul. Give up your flesh.”
Tama gulped and sweated as the demonic whispered distracted him. Wu smiled wider, her powers clearly more than simply brute force. The boy had to wonder if he had gotten in too deep, not that he’d had any other hope.
“You think you can outlast me, little boy?” Wu challenged him in a soft and intimate voice. She leaned closer, letting him feel her cool breath on his wet skin. Her demonic eyes split in different directions, eying him up like she was sketching out cuts of meat across his young body. She bared her teeth and a thin black smoke leaked out between them, starting to pool around his feet.
“I just spent a century petrified in one spot waiting for your arrival. You think I can’t outlast you for a few more minutes?” she pried.
Wu smirked and tugged on her necklace. The skulls clacked off each other as she lifted it enough to flash him her perky tits and hard nipples.
“Let yourself be tempted and corrupted for once, little man, and I will let you take of my body before you die. I can show you what it is to be with a shapeshifter and take your life while you are in the throes of ecstasy. I’m sure it’s a better death than the pretentious idiots at your farse of a temple could give you.”
Tama trembled but he only swallowed hard. He clenched his fists to squeeze some of the stray water from his robes. He had to hope his plan would work. The monks had faltered minutes into his stay, but had the splashing waves washed away some of that fresh monk smell?
“Break for me, you mortal child. Enjoy one final blaspheme with me before… what are you doing?”
Tama looked up in surprise, quickly coming back into focus. Wu’s confidently narrowed eyes had widened a bit, and he saw her short, pointed nose sniff the air.
“Nothing. Why?”
“You just… nothing!” Wu muttered before shaking her head like she was trying to clear her vision. She furrowed her brow but her upper set of eyes bobbed to look lower on his body.
The small crack was all Tama needed. He bolstered his faith and courage as he tugged at his robe. He slid it open enough to expose most of his front, letting his tense erection poke out between the fabric. He heard a few appreciative hoots and whistles from the Daughters of Wusai on the opposite shore until Wu shot them a dirty look.
Her hand started to reach for Tama before it snapped back into place. “You’re cheating,” she grumbled.
“I’m not even moving,” Tama shrugged. “Or using magic.”
Wu choked on her words for another protest as all four of eyes looked down at his crotch. Her sharp nose sniffed curiously at the air and Tama could see the muscles in her legs twitch. The demon leaned lower, trying to get a better whiff but her tainted body was clearly succumbing to the same urges as the others. Her hand would try to reach for it just before recoiling in time to keep from breaking their rules.
“You dirty… sneaky fool of a holy man,” she grumbled as her legs started to quiver. Tama just watched her expectantly until the muscular demon moved to one knee, breathing heavier as she drew closer to his manhood. Her stern expression cracked more and more until with a desperate gasp, she dropped to all fours before the monk and buried her face into his crotch. She swallowed up his cock with a loud and satisfied moan. Her main set of eyes shut tightly as she drooled over his shaft while her upper pair rolled back in her head. She slobbered over it shamelessly until Tama shuddered, shooting his seed into her mouth and throat.
Wu panted helplessly as she leaned her face into his lap, letting his leaking cock drool its last drops over her face as she gulped down the rest. She nuzzled his junk like a humbled puppy in her dazed state.
“No… no this can’t be,” she moaned deeply, even as her eyes were shut in mind-numbing satisfaction.
“You lost,” Tama corrected. “You agreed to serve me, and true demons keep their word.”
Wu shut both sets of eyes as she shuddered. She hugged her brawny arms around herself and nodded.
“I did. I do. I have never been so clearly outwitted…”
She nodded humbly and lowered her head to go as low as she could, clunking it on the bottom of the boat.
“I will serve you well, Master Tama. I hope you will teach me your ways that break even the highest of demons.”
“Uh… we’ll see about that. Can you just get us to shore? Oh and don’t forget about Zha-Ye.”
“The fat one or the loud one?” Wu asked, lifting her head to face him again.
“The… the pink-haired one,” Tama corrected.
---
They dragged Zha and the boat off to shore where the piggish woman shook herself awake surprisingly quick.
“Well as powerful as she was, I wasn’t about to fight her again. An ambush when the time was right was our only valid strategy, clearly,” she excused, unprompted and a bit too eagerly.
“I understand. It worked out in the end.” Tama nodded to her as Sonya came charging back at them, screaming a war cry as she started to catch up to them.
“Think you can smack me a mile and get away with it!? That just gave me a running start!” she ranted before Tama ran into her way.
“Wait! Wait, she works for us now!” he insisted. “She’s coming with us!”
“She… what? How’d you pull…?”
Sonya paused and looked down. She tugged Tama’s robe shut for him and tied off his sash to conceal his exposed dick.
“Never mind. I think I get it.”
Tama blushed as he adjusted his clothes. Wu casually hefted up their backpacks and passed them off to the group.
“And what of your horse, Master Tama?” she asked, smiling heartily. She licked her lips and stretched herself out, clearly enjoying waking up from her ancient coma now that she was up and moving (and tasting divine semen).
Tama looked back over the river. It had calmed into more of a giant lake, but the amazons were salvaging what they could of the temple. The sisters had his horse and were already petting and feeding it as the stables remained untouched.
“I shouldn’t bother,” he decided. “It did a good job getting me this far, and it’ll likely only get more dangerous as we go on. I can just buy another one at the next settlement.”
“Really now?” Wu asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I think he’s earned it. And the sisters will take good care of him with all their newfound freetime. Why do you ask?”
“It’s just that the mounts of the Territories tend to be… a bit wilder than most.”
“I’m sure I’ll make do. I tamed you, didn’t I?”
Wu gave a hearty laugh at that. She formed a fist against her palm and bowed low to him.
“That you did, master. And at the very peak of my power, no less.”
“Peak?” Sonya asked, quirking an eyebrow at their new companion. “Whatya mean peak?”
“Well I was a river demon in my past life,” Wu explained as they started to walk together. “I never strayed far from this one myself. The longer I go without exposure to water, the weaker I become. On a river or even after a bath, I’m nigh unstoppable.”
She raised a buff blue arm, flexing its massively dense bicep proudly.
“All in service of my new master!”
Sonya grinned as she glanced towards Zha-Ye.
“Well you’re in luck, big blue, cuz our boy here is a pro at getting ladies wet.”
Tama blushed again as he walked beside his companions, letting Zha put an arm around Wu’s shoulders and start to explain their sexual schedule.
