The Great Tree of Kings (Patreon)

A lovely 3 monitor wide render. This took 3.2 hours to render in total and many more hours to get the trees looking pretty. I'm not gonna say it's perfect but it's darn close to what I was looking for.

Reasons for this small project: One of my commissions takes place in a forest, so I needed to get some trees and get them compatible with Redshift (the renderer I use). I also wanted to learn how to make vasts forests in a procedural manner as well as learn how to create and render clouds.  And lastly, environment fog, to create scene depth.

I have a few more trees I'm going to be prepping, but I think this is a great outcome. I want my future animations to have a bit more life in them instead of just a blank background. Obviously, not all of my scenes are going to require a vast forest, but yeah XD.
