So, my new job has a 90 day orientation period which will start in October I believe (unsure if training counts). During that 90 day period, I'll be working part-time (appox. 28 hours per week) which will be far less than what I've been working. After that orientation period, I'll have to make a choice. To change to full time and make money, pay my bills and have spare cash for once, or "work" for you guys full time.

In order for the latter choice to even be a choice, I need income. I was primarily planning on that income coming from Patreon. After crunching the numbers, to be able to pay my bills and student loans and not get in trouble with anyone, I'll need to be making at the very least, 1500/month. That's what I make currently and I'm barely surviving. The reason why I would rather do Patreon versus taking on commissions is because I can't imagine too many people wanting to pay a few hundred dollars for a commission. And so that would be inconsistent. Patreon would give me the security of a consistent paycheck.

The only other thing that may happen is that I actually get a job in my field. Which would probably disrupt everything. Unless I'm somehow making more through Patreon than the company would pay me.

In the meantime, I'll be attempting to make things ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/14003311 ) to continue garnering your interest. Working 28 hours will increase my available time for personal projects but it'll stress my finances a bit.

IN OTHER NEWS

So, the reason for the new job is because my old employer was bought out by a competitor. So I had to apply for my own job basically. So, while trying to prep for moving and during moving, I was doing interviews and the drug test and training for that on top of working at my old job (which will exist till Oct.) I couldn't afford a uhaul, so on my days off, I was driving 4 hours in total for each trip to my mom's where my things were and stuffing my little car as full as it could get. Probably did that about 8 times. I'm finally unpacked and most of my things are put away. Things will probably get a little hectic again this week because my two roommates move in this week.

The last couple months sure have been a stressful mess. I mean, one could probably imagine how stressful it would be to have signed a lease for an apartment and then find out that you gotta apply for your own job because it was bought out. So I was stressed because I didn't know if I had a job. Thankfully I will be fine there.

Lastly, THANK YOU! I want to thank my friends who have been very supportive. And to the patrons on Patreon so far. I don't think I would be where I'm at without you guys. You all give me motivation to keep going and striving for greatness.

Let me end the journal with a personally made video of the 2017 solar eclipse. Me and 3 others managed to drive down to southern Illinois and back in one day to witness the amazing spectacle. I played Dark Side of the Moon out of my car and timed it so that the last song finished as totality occurred. And I have to admit that I cried. It was such a moving experience. Unless you see it for yourself with your own eyes, there's just no way to comprehend how utterly breathtaking it was. But this video gives you a small idea into that beauty. Enjoy!
