So, just some announcements. We're coming to the end of the year, and just like everyone else, IRL gets pretty busy for me. So unfortunately, I have to announce some weeks where I won't be posting anything because Christmas and Christmas prep. To that end, I won't be posting on Christmas week and the week before Christmas. That's from the 16th to the 27th. I should be able to update on New Year's week, though.

However, I also will be taking a break on the 2nd week of January 2025, from the 6th to the 12th, since I'll be doing family stuff then, and I'll probably be without my laptop. This one might change, depending on how confident I feel, but I figure I might as well take the break God is offering me.

I apologize for this, but... well, family, you know.

However, in other news, I might start writing the 4th Volume of Demesne and posting it here and only here. Updates on THAT, if I start doing it, will likely be sporadic, depending on how I can find time to do it. We'll see.

I'm also considering doing a POV for Malory or Steve, but that's more vague than the Demesne plans.

Anyway, that's all for announcements. Now for the polls! I'll be honest, I thought I'd be writing more Haunted House stuff in FHHFFAP, but it turns out the muse is enthusiastic about Loren's home life, relationship with Harmony, and worldbuilding. So I figured I'll ask you guys what you want more of.

I'm really looking forward to the next volume of Demesne. More Lori, Ryan, Shana, Umu, Mikon, Erzebed and Karina. To be honest, the characters in Flipping Haunted Houses For Fun And Profit never interested me as much as the Demesne cast. Flipping Haunted Houses is well written and has a decent cast but the last couple of years I've gravitated more towards stories where the cast of characters offers a decent amount of humour without being clowns. In Demesne, the characters are all from a variety of reasonable, real life characters but they're always presented with a good dose of low-key, situational humour. In Flipping Haunted Houses I don't quite see that humour yet. Could also be a cultural or generational difference -- I never quite managed to connect with [in the broadest, most uneducated sense] Manga culture.

Sounds great. Have fun mate, am really enjoying your writing given that I only discovered ya recently. Although, sayin that you'd only post vol 4 of demesne here do you mean to do so temporarily or no? Just wondering! Keep up the having fun writing!
