- It wouldn't surprise me if the timing of Ordinary Confessions and them doing an episode where he could see another song with Confession in the title is why he was invited on for this episode. - Yeah, he is so talented. - That is a hell of a performance of Lean On Me - Looking at the order of the performances, it looks like Hyolyn and Ailee had already been eliminated so could just sit back and enjoy the performances. Sohyang went last and won the episode. - The second song is certainly a different vibe, but just as powerful. - I also only got into K-Pop after I.O.I. disbanded so a good portion of them I learned through their post activities rather than through the group. - Yeah, I understand. - I know she left her last company at some point this year and I haven't seen any announcement of either starting a company or signing with a new company. I think she also had an unreleased album with that company. - It sucks because that lost momentum really hurts as the industry keeps moving on. Ailee had the same issue when her company stopped doing stuff for her after being so big in the industry. - I know I have heard Run To You before just because of that Bounce With Me part. - Hong Jin Young is the artist. I don't know if Jin Young is traditionally a masculine name, but everyone else I know besides her with the name is a guy. - 4 songs for Swan's debut and sounds like she worked on the lyrics too. - Hong Jin Young is a great performer, though since she is a trot singer, her songs can be a bit hit or miss for me. She is always fun on variety shows too. - I think Lean On Me was my favorite too.

that makes more sense then it just being a coinidence lol - You arent lying, that was a great performance of Lean on Me, even Michael Bolten sincerely looked blown away - ive been listening to kpop for a few years now, but at first when ppl would talk about orignal groups and whatnot thats when i felt my rookiedom lol... Sunmi is a perfect example, i knew and loved her as a solo artist for a while before i heard a wondergirls song or even knew she was in that group - I hope good things for Chungha, i love all her songs, especially bsides... its the style she chooses to go with, the lowkey earworm... you have to listen to it a couple of times, but when it clicks it clicks hard - Yeah it does seem like momentum and constantly being out there is more important in kpop than most genres, so much is always going on that if you arent in the mix, ppl move on really fast - i thought it was a guy at first because of the name, then i thought maybe she just went by Joy... finally when i was editing i looked it up so i can give her the credit she deserves for this performance... i wouldnt think i was the biggest fan of trot songs, but it seems like i like a few artists that do or used to do trot style songs - i cant wait for Swan's solo, it seems like good timing for them, inbetween album cycles, 1 member on hiatus, 1 doing a competition show, midaswell knock out a solo project now

Younha performed on Immortal Songs this week. This time performing Spring Day by BTS. I didn't recognize any of the other singers performing this week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha5JO6NHLyQ

Oh nice I'll for sure check that out, even though I'm not the biggest bts fan, I'm sure she kills it. I've been doing a lot of rearranging and working on our studio room we record in, I'm hope this week I'll be able to get back to more videos on Patreon
