- I was starting to get slightly worried you weren't going to react to the rest of the songs. - They invited 4 producer teams to make new songs for the show. After hearing the rough versions of the songs, they picked which song they wanted to do and then the contestants got to work with the producers of the song to modify the song to fit what they wanted to do. - So some Exy news. WJSN recently celebrated their 7th anniversary and now we are waiting for news on resigning. Most companies tend to release that info right away but seems last time Starship took several months before they fully announced who had renewed their contracts for Monsta X. I know while Starship's other groups recently joined a new idol message platform service, the statement for WJSN was that they would join at some later time. Hopefully, that means WJSN will actually continue with most members at least. - I remember for the song that Moonbyul and Yubin, one of the producers really wanted the song to be an EDM song (which is how the song started out). That producer is also a famous comedian so clearly was playing some things up when talked about his disappointment. - This was probably my least favorite round just because I didn't care for the songs as much (probably a side effect of them being new songs that maybe didn't get as much polish as normal), but it was my favorite concept-wise with them working to make new songs their own so you could really compare the matchups. - This round also featured Moonbyul's first loss (all 5 judges picked Yubin to win), but she still got full marks from the global listeners.

I haven't had a lot of free time lately but I'm glad I got a chance to check out this round, better late than never lol - it's cool how in these shows there are always rounds that have new original songs on it, makes it a lot easier for an artist to make it their own imo - I hope they stay together, but I also think their marketing doesn't seem to be the best, so I also hope they start getting to promotion they seemingly deserve - I loved the moon byul and yubin song.. I think moons was better sung and arranged but I like the style of yubins - I like the round for what it is, I think the fact they are original songs makes me like it a lil more than cover rounds, but cover or not they are all good at making it theirs
