- So I believe MAMA was a 3-night event this year. They typically do 2 or 3 nights and in the past, they have had them in different locations. Jeon Somi was the host for night 1, while Park Bo Gum was the host for night 2. - Leejung is a cheregrapher under YGX. The first fan performance featured all the Worldwide Fans' Choice songs. - I think MNet doesn't actually have beef with any companies currently. I could be wrong. But like in the past, for example, they had problems with YG, and YG artists wouldn't appear on MAMA and wouldn't win awards. But having Jeon Somi certainly shows that is no longer the case. - I tried to listen to both NMIXX releases, but they weren't for me, and only listened once. - No survival show for NMIXX. They are just JYP's latest group. - DKZ is a smaller boy group. They were the winners of the Road To MAMA contest (which started of with Road to Countdown) so got to perform on MAMA. All the groups that were in contention were ones that didn't have a music show win. Seems the other group that made it to the final Road To MAMA round was Secret Number. I kind of lost track of the whole contest months ago. - I'm assuming Hyolyn redid it to be darker because she had to match the energy of Bibi and they seemed to have a whole storyline to go with both parts. - One thing I will say about Jotto is that watching the MV for it was enough. I do like the song, the MV was a bit much for me. Hence why I didn't post anything to your reaction. - You Know Better was a song Hyolyn did a few years ago. - Looks like JO1 is from the Japanese version of Produce 101, but the wiki says it will be a permanent group, unlike other Produce 101 groups. - Sakura is still the only member I know. - I looked it up. Looks like AKB48 did a wrestling drama and then had a few actual pro wrestling shows after the show was over. - I know you have heard The Girls before. It was their Queendom finale song. Guess the song didn't stick with you. - The dance certainly sticks with you. Not really surprised they do random dances before K-Pop concerts. - NewJeans is another group that I just didn't click with so I haven't really listened to. I tried two of their songs when they first came. - I like how they went from Kep1er's Yujin getting the focus to Ive's Yujin getting the focus. - Yeah the Twice cover was great. - I checked out Forestella once when I checked out Seoul Festa 2022 live. They did a Queen cover there. Here is the playlist for all the performances from that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1OMPaLdonI&list=PLMf7VY8La5RESHS-LQJ5kVwdcS-0rYxKo - You can probably figure out which groups caused me to want to check it out live. - Hit the Stage had some great dance performances. It was idols teaming up with dance groups. I still occasionally go back to watch the Chungha performance with Yoojung from the show. - I'm guessing it was harder to break this one into parts, because most of the other performances were longer performances too, but were split into multiple parts. - It is a long show. I think 3 hours each day. Plenty of time for awards. - I agree, of the stuff you have shown so far, the Twice cover was the best. Though Day 2 had my favorite. - I'm guessing you already watched session 3 which looks to be the one where Kara performed their new song that was released the same day. Kara also had a Killing Voice that came out this week. Kara was a big second gen group and this week they had their first comeback in quite some time.

Thats awesome its that long, it gives a chance to let more artists show off. I think Somi is a good choice as a host, i dont think i know the other person - im glad there is no beef, i try not to buy into the corporate drama all that much, i think there will always be things to bitch about but all in all, if it wasnt for a lot of these companies we wouldnt know a lot of the artists or groups or have all the music we love in the form they are currently in at least. - i didnt like any nmixx song for a long time, to the point we did a reaction to 0.0 but couldnt think of anything nice to say throughout most of it, so we never posted it. But they grew on me.. it turned into a situat ion of "the amount that i liked the parts i did like outgrew the parts i didnt like, to the point that they also grew on me" - The DKZ group seemed cool, i think its awesome they do anything liek that to get a spot to perform.. I like Secret Number too, so im glad that even if they dont make it to the awards stage, they still get some promotion - i wanted Hyolyn to cover Yonnmirae's rap sooooo bad lmao, i get why she didnt, but it would have been fun i think - i can understand that with the Jotto MV, i think its cool to go over the top in MVs, but i usually only watch them once, and then again in editing then if i like the song i add it to my YT music playlist and usually never see the video again, unless i watch other reactions. - ok that makes sense for JO1, i saw that a few countries did variations of the Produce 101 show, i hope sometime i find the time to check them out. - sakura is adorable, she seems funny but kinda airheaded, but also likes to instigate ppl around her. The wrestling thing is super funny, i woiuld have never guessed i would see her in a ring even in that context. - i knew i heard the song before, but you are correct, it didnt really stick. TBH none of the final queendom songs stuck with me.. I think the performances were cool but thats about it for me. - all 3 kpop concerts i have been too (Dreamcatcher, Brave Girls, G-Idle) have been vastly different vibes, crowds, and venues... but all were great in their own ways... i cant think of anything bad other than lask of merch to buy, and prices of drinks at the shows (not the groups fault, but still sucks lol (also didnt stop us from drinking)) The crowd doing the dances while waiting for the doors to open to the concerts have been one of the coolest differences from metal concerts. - i think NewJeans is a cool group and the Attention song started to grow on me, but i think they are too young for me, but i can for sure see them finding their path and making me a fan with their next comeback. I do appreciate they are bringing new fans the genre though. - Kep1er's Yujin is one of the cutest ppl in all of kpop, here personality is also very likable, she is a easy person to root for and be proud of - the TWICE cover was amazing, i loved every second and aspect of it, one of my favorite things ive seen in a while - i see the talent, but i dont see myself becoming a Forestella - Ill check out the the Hit the Stage, i really like ChungHa and Yoojung - i did watch the 3rd session, i just posted it. i liked the Kara performance, im going to try to fit the Dingo performance in so i can get to know them a lil better... I think ill check out the Day 2 in a few days, so i can geet the reactions up sooner than later
