Another concept for a cowboy character, his name is Forrest Haflinger, and he owns a horse breeding stable called Haystack Stables. He's a fun loving goofball with very little critical thinking skills, preferring to live life to the funnest and fullest rather than seriously.

He's the son of two immigrant horse breeders, with a Cuban mother and an English father. They struggled to find their footing until they began working with Marion's wealthy ex-family, where he met him at a young age. They quickly became friends until one day Marion came out to him, telling him his desire to be a boy. Forrest, in an attempt to be supportive, convinced Marion to let him give him a "boy haircut," resulting in furious backlash from Marion's family. The Haflingers were blacklisted from the state of Tennessee and were forced to move elsewhere.

They settled in Colorado, where they actually made quite a business selling horses, becoming a wealthy and well known family. Forrest, enabled by his now wealthy parents, was always known around town as a bombastic man who frequently spent big bucks on drinks, gambling, and other people. This was soon to change as in his late 20s, his mother passed of illness and his father was killed in a robbery gone wrong. This left Forrest in charge of Haystack Stables.

Since Forrest grew up very laid back and nonchalant, furthered by his newfound wealth later in life, he has zero business skills and very little knowledge about horse breeding. He mostly wrangled and trained horses, not breeding or selling. This caused Haystack to plummit in sales and stock. Knowing his quick to trust nature, some seedy gangs swooped in and offered to "help" him and his business, providing loans and business deals. This now means Forrest owes a lot of money to dangerous people and has a lot of enemies due to business deals gone wrong. Despite his huge target on his head, he seems unbothered by his predicament, though itll catch up to him eventually.

Sorry for the long bio! I hope to develop the story of Marion and Forrest on the side, somehow. maybe a comic, maybe some illustrations, maybe animations, idk. Stay tuned for more content of them!
