Sonic practice sketch 8/2/19 (Patreon)

I’m starting a new thing here. I’ll try to daily (or semi daily depending on how busy I am) to post up 2 sketch underdrawings a day featuring the Sonic characters.

These drawings willl show my initial process for drawing. When doing comics, I start with a loose drawing like this, then I refine it, and finally go to inks.

My intention is that fans or young people who want to practice drawing Sonic and friends will use these. Print them out or put them on a layer in your preferred drawing app and trace over them. Do a side by side copying exercise.

I’ll also be posting selected drawings as videos on YouTube so you can watch as I draw.

Today I’ll have 2 drawings. One of Sonic and one of Tails. From now forward, I’ll do one for free and one for paid patrons.

If you’re waiting for a particular character, be patient and I’ll get around to them.
