This episode was a feast! I’m so impressed by this season’s ability to create engaging episodes that continue to build towards an eventual huge payoff.

Brina Blue

Here's something that I find kind of cool. Back when the show was first airing and the official BSG boards were a great place for after show discussion, the first time Lampkin showed up, there were tons of comments lamenting that he was the owner of a cat and not Jake's owner. Someone from the writing staff actually chimed in and even told us that they wish they had thought of that and they had no idea that Jake had made so much of an impact on us! I'm sure those discussions also impacted this episode! It didn't happen very often, but it was so cool when someone from the show with an official network login came in and either commented or answered or questions!

Tom Servo

This is another of those episodes that maybe doesn't linger in a lot of people's memories because there weren't a lot of flashy edge-of-your-seat action sequences, but in terms of sheer drama and actor performances in terms of stagecraft and performance, I think this one is in the top five for the series. Sure, other episodes have superb scenes and moments, but this episode was just firing on all cylinders from start to finish, relentlessly.
