I’m not sure I completely followed the fairy lore, but this episode hit all the right character notes and made for a compelling story. It hit a great balance and told a beautifully dark tale. I definitely hope this show gives more dark and twisty stories!

I do enjoy how the photo Estelle showed at the start had Jazmine in it all along, showing that there really wasn't another way around it. I agree I'm not the biggest fan of fairy lore, but I do still enjoy the episode overall. I only wish we'd gotten to know Estelle a little better in just one or two of the episodes before this, so that her death would have hit harder when it happened. Although as you say, her compacted storyline was still hard hitting.

I love this episode so much! I remember watching it when I was like 13 and being so terrified of the fairies! The love between Jack and Estelle is so painful and beautiful.
