This was such an engrossing story. Who knew watching Gauis' defense lawyer would be such an engaging plot. Throw in an assassination plot, some genuine grief, and a son's inner struggle and we have a great episode of Battlestar Galactica.

At this point it would probably be easier to list the sci-fi and fantasy shows that Mark Sheppard hasn't been involved with. And Lampkin probably now sits at his second most popular role behind Crowley from Supernatural. The role is truly an actor's treasure trove, giving him so many different quirks to work with, and of course he quickly became a prime suspect for one of the Final Five Cylons, mainly argued against because it would be too obvious to suddenly introduce such a memorably bizarre guy for the purpose. In the other plot, Moore clearly took Starbuck's loss very seriously and it's much appreciated that he takes all this time to show how much it affects everyone (I died a little when Lee calls Racetrack by her name). Probably another lesson from Voyager's problems.
