Yippee! Yippee! Yippee! Another CNR video! …I’m reminded of one of Norm MacDonald’s funniest, most famous SNL jokes. It’s only six words long, but it’s repeated: “YIPPEE! Jerry Rubin died last week!” [AUDIENCE is mostly quiet.] “Oh, I’m sorry, I said that wrong… Yippie Jerry Rubin died last week.” [AUDIENCE falls out of their seats laughing.] “There, that’s better. I apologize. My mistake.” *On the occasion of the death of Jerry Rubin, prominent member of the Youth International Party (Y.I.P.), known as the yippie movement.*

Y'all: Tube Norm's "12 minute joke" for the Best Bit from his final show. The whole show is worth it, if a bit sad in retrospect as he jokes about Death a lot, and only *he* knew he was terminal at the time. He didn't tell noone he was checking out, because he wanted to be celebrated for his comedy, and not have well-wishers for his terminality. So, *celebrate* Norm by laughing at his brilliance. Whats that? A cheese sandwich? Rest in Laughter, Norm. 😂
