This movie was absolutely nothing like I expected. Much more psychological and an ending that was simultaneously satisfying and head-scratching.

Before Jordan Peele, there was Terry Gilliam. A guy everyone knew from a sketch comedy show, suddenly taking a hard turn into very dark films. Though his career path was a bit more gradual, with his early films like Time Bandits and Brazil having much more comedy in them before he went into stuff like this.

Instead of the river of trivia I know about this:<p></p><p>I <i>also</i> get annoyed when Revelation is pluralized. John had 1 apocalypse (Greek for revelation), albeit a rather long one.</p><p>The thing with insurance scientist doesn't quite pop; it confuses everyone on a first viewing. But you puzzled it into place! Props!</p><p>The lab assistant looked familiar to you. He plays a guard in Green Mile and Foster's father in Contact.</p>
