Content

Hello Patrons!

You'll notice a new format for the upcoming content and that's 100% due to my new recently unveiled Patreon release strategy. As I am transitioning to build my High Performance Coaching business I'll be releasing less edited content on YouTube, but I am excited to be able to release more content here on Patreon.

I feel a sense of freedom to record reactions to things I enjoy and want to watch without the pressure and urgency to prepare a public YouTube release. Some of the shows I watch will eventually get a YouTube release, and many may not, but for those who share my enjoyment of this content, I hope you will have fun with these additions.

Battlestar Galactica (2004)

The primary content addition for me is Battlestar Galactica (2004). This is a show I've always wanted to watch and for one reason or another have never got around to it. I'll be releasing one episode weekly on Tuesdays and hopefully create the experience of watching the show live, generating discussion and community. I won't be watching ahead, but truly enjoying one episode a week.

I will release the miniseries on YouTube in March to let people know I'm watching the show, but truly I have no idea or timeline for editing the rest of the show for youtube although I do plan to eventually.

TAGS

One area I've tried to improve lately is using tags to better organize the content here on Patreon so it's easier to navigate. On the web browser you can easily see all the tags and find new content to watch. They can always be found at the bottom of posts to look for similar content.

Silly suggestion that wouldn't take (too much) time from ya. <p>Have some polls of "movies you'll never watch" so us patrons can argue amongst ourselves...'cause we <b>really</b> enjoy doing that! </p><p>Chris, you've made a lovely lil community here. Prompt us to express our secret cinematic discoveries! Just for fun!</p><p>You'll likely never watch The Holy Mountain or Putney Swope or Possession or Breathless...but it'd be hella fun to talk about em!</p>

Yeah...<p>Prolly not be so absolute about it as I suggested.</p><p>While it's not much work...it <i>is</i> work you get no real return from.</p><p>Thus far no one clicked like on my dumb idea, so...</p><p>Oh, well. I try to help and often fall (fail!). 😏</p>

Ooohh, BSG! I love Battlestar and it's still incredibly relevant today, even if it was originally a metaphor for America's post-9/11 War on Terror phase. A lot of fascinating questions about faith, survival, love, racism... so very much still relevant, heh.

Oh, fascinating! Good sci-fi so often has something to say as well as having immense entertainment value. Excited to dive in.
