It certainly is a complicated tale. (Or is it quite simple?) An engaging murder mystery with an ending I couldn't have seen coming even if I'd picked up all the clues. This felt very literary even for a movie based on a book. Well done!

If you were going to read a Christie book, And Then Were None (aka 10 Little Indians) is arguably her best...but it would spoil the movie, of course.
If you ever have a chance, see her play The Mouse Trap. It's arguably the OG whodunnit. Odd it's never been filmed especially given that it's literally (tis been professionally performed more than 23,000 times just in London's West End theatres, no joke) the most popular play ever.

Her play The Mouse Trap is the clear inspiration for the board game Clue - and certainly influenced the movie too.

I am fascinated that a Play that popular has never been turned into a film. I wonder if someone out there holds the rights and won’t let it happen.
