A beautifully constructed story full of heart, and mystery while addressing the question of science versus faith in an intriguing and thoughtful way! I'm annoyed I didn't watch this years ago, but happy to share the experience with you!

Thank you for a great reaction to one of my favorite movies! Your own faith and religious background gave you a unique perspective and helped me see certain scenes from a new angle. The book Contact is also a great read. One notable difference is that three people go on the voyage instead of just one, and their different experiences are fascinating. It also ends with a small but mind blowing occurrence that had my mind twisted in circles for years afterwards.
