Look, up in the sky! Always fun to revisit a classic I saw as a kid and realize how little I recall of it. I DEFINITELY merged 1 and 2 in my head and remember 2 better, which will make it more fun to finally see the Donner cut next week. Superman is by FAR the most idealistic superhero ever created. I'm not sure I'd really want him any other way.

Superman, I imagine, has got to be the <i>hardest</i> role for any actor to play. Christopher Reeve nailed it out of the park and into the sky! <p>I hope some others here will support me in encouraging you to watch Supe 3, especially if you haven't seen it. It's practically a screw-ball comedy hence it gets poopoo'd, but it's a river of joy and in some ways the <b>most</b> "comic-book" movie ever. </p>

I’ll jump on the Superman 3 train. It’s not my favorite by far, but it’s very unique, and yes…. Very comic booky for lack of a better word lol

Teenage Clark Kent was played by Jeff East, but his voice was dubbed by Christopher Reeve. (If you rewatch those scenes knowing this, you can really hear it!)

Oh wow! That so explains my confusion. 🤣 i wonder why they didn’t just have Reeve so it. My perception may be off, but he didn’t seem all that much younger.
