This movie is beautiful, absurd, heartfelt, hilarious, tragic, artistic. I don't know who thought to make an action, Kung fu, comedy, drama, but It really is everything and I’m so grateful to share this experience with you! Thank you so much for watching this one.

Admittedly I may have watched it a little early as it is not yet available for rental or on a streaming service. The DVD &  streaming purchase is available now with rental coming July 5th.

What a phenomenal movie, maybe the best movie ever. I know I said that about Amadeus too, but I’m verse jumping so give me some leeway. When you find yourself laughing, and you also find yourself crying that is a wonderful range of emotions from a movie. But then somehow you find yourself laughing while you cry and crying while you laugh. And it all feels completely right and natural. Then you find yourself staring at two rocks chasing each other, crying while you laugh and laughing while you cry, and you learn something about the universe and about yourself. That’s what this movie is. p.s. Look into the background about how this was made, and your respect will go up 10x, which I know isn’t possible because how can you go above infinity? And check out the movie maker’s cameos! You summed it up best. “I just want to applaud all day long”

This film and Amadeus have this in common: they are unique. They each have qualities that make them stand out and above the norm. Thanks for the comment!

there are so many classic movies i would like to see your reaction. too many. but i will name one, don't put it on a poll, would not win. "The Women" starring only the biggest names of the studio. big cast. no males at all. it is dated but that makes it even funnier. Made same year as "Gone with the Wind" and "The Wizard of Oz".

I LOVE "The Women!" I can't remember how many times I've watched it. Rosalind Russell is fantastic in it.
