A friend worked on a crappo movie with Rutger Hauer years ago - said he was the nicest person ever. He paid for massages for the entire crew...my friend didn't cash her's in 'cause she wanted to keep and frame the card that said "Rutger Hauer has gifted you an hour massage."

Gas for the fire: the movie was called "Crossworlds" and my friend complained that a noname actor with a tiny part in it kept hitting on her. Jack Black was his name.

Great reaction! I think the "slow" parts are important for the world-building, which is a character in itself. Yeah, a lot of people have problems with the Deckard / Rachael scene. But I look at it this way, Rachael was having problems determining if her reactions were her own or Tyrell's niece's. Remember when she played the piano, "I remember lessons. But I don't know if they are mine or Tyrell's niece's." Deckard says, "YOU [EMPHASIS MINE] play beautifully." Yes, he prevents her from running away. And, at the start, he feeds her lines to tell him. But when she says, "Put your hands on me", she's entirely "off script" and establishing she's feeling those things. SHE is. Odd fact: The story takes place in 2019, so Roy Batty dies in 2019. Rutger Hauer, who played Roy, died in 2019. The original "Tears in Rain" monologue felt too clunky for Rutger Hauer. So he rewrote it the night before the scene was shot. You asked, "Can a Replicant be a Blade Runner?" Congratulations you just realized the plot (and no, this is not a spoiler) of, "Blade Runner 2019". You mentioned you've only seen a few episodes of "Battlestar Galactica". Any thoughts to doing reaction videos to the series?

I actually felt the slow part a little more when I was editing it yesterday than watching it lol. It was really fascinating and I definitely laughed at myself at the amount of times I misunderstood something the movie clearly demonstrated haha. I don't know what the original monologue was, but the rewrite was amazing. So well done! Not sure if I'll watch the sequel or not, but if they dive into that question it increases the odds greatly :) I'm not sure! Reacting to a full pre-established series is daunting. I would enjoy it I'm sure, but I don't know if I'm ready to make that kind of commitment 😅 Perhaps one day I can devote a couple videos a month to it.
