This is my first time watching a sci-fi film from this time period and it did not disappoint! I absolutely love the simplicity of the story and how it unfolded and even left me with a little something to think about.

Boy what a can of worms this film opened up, then and now. Early portrayal of the "News" being used to propagate fear through non existent premise of Alien Invasion. Hollywood will soon be rocked in the '50's by the McCarthy "Commie" trials in which news agencies used fear to propagate as well. Hollywood learned to take over the reigns from news agencies and now it seems it is Hollywood and it's elites who drive the narrative. It is too hard seemingly, for anyone to know what is true or real anymore. It makes for "fear" to know that were all part of some narrative. Rule of thumb, if the media is pushing it, I'm against it.
