My favorite episode so far! I just loved this one and thought it was a truly inventive continuation of a story I assumed was over.

Another banger, and a well placed reminder of Gwen’s HR skills… Compassion and relatability are absolutely her strengths, even if it was nearly deadly that she got taken advantage of here. Despite her flaws, I just adore Eve Myles’ portrayal of her character. What can I say, sometimes I support women’s rights AND wrongs🤣

Side note, Suzie’s revealing that the canon afterlife of the Whoniverse is purgatory, is so insanely dark to think about when watching the main show🫣(no I’m not foreshadowing or referencing anything specific don’t worry, but I’m sure you know, more people gonna die at some point and it hits hard!)

Another great Season 1 episode (and reaction too!) - thanks to how well written she is here Suzie, in the expanded universe audios, ends up getting a few dedicated pre-Gwen flashback episodes!
