Revelations indeed! I absolutely loved how this story was handled and firmly cements Col Tigh as one of my favorite characters in this show. Naturally, this leaves me with all the questions about what’s next. I’ll see you in six months! (Or next week 😉)

I'm confused....your episode titles and numbers dont match...I thought episode 9 was missing but its not, titles all out of synch?

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

OKAY now that I've watched -- "Still taking care of her. Him. Him. Gaius is a boy." - my favorite observation of the episode D'Anna: "I've just executed the first of the colonial hostages." Chris: "Did you? Off-camera? I'll take her word for it." - Just before D'Anna speaks, we see a body ejected from the baseship (and the best part of typing this sentence was that it autocorrected to "we see a body ejected from the BAKESHOP" which is a whole other show) Starbuck in the raptor: "Is she gonna get the coordinates for Earth?" YAY YOU! "Can Starbuck run a little faster please?" So, a whole bunch of fans noticed that Starbuck ran past at *least* four VISIBLE PHONES she could have picked up to reach CIC (I get it, I get it, the single-mindedness, the heightened drama....) "Are we going to Earth RIGHT NOW?" 100% everyone's reaction I love everyone's expressions in that long pan across on Earth where everyone's just horrified and sad and resigned, except Tyrol, whose got this wry smirk and gives a little chuckle like "Of course. Of course it's garbage; why would it be anything else." FRAK I love this episode.

In my own mind, I like to think that Starbuck had full situational awareness while running to the CIC, and opted to not use a phone. Why? Because as she was running, she was doing the mental gymnastics and crunching the numbers. "What are the odds that, in this heightened situation, someone will stop doing the other very important thing they're doing, and actually answer? Will I have to press 1 for English? Will I have to listen closely as our menu options have changed? Is this number still being forwarded to the answering service, even though CIC has been open for two hours? Are they screening and blocking numbers?" Y'know, the same reasons we have our doubts if our call will actually go through when we call a number. Although, I would really like a deleted scene where Gaeta or Dee answers the CIC phone and just immediately screams, "What extended warranty??? My car was nuked on Caprica! Did it cover tactical thermonuclear detonation?" Also, I'm so down for the show about a bakery that ejects random bodies. Bakerystar Galacticake sounds fun.

David Anderson

Yeah, this episode I think completely cemented Saul Tigh as one of, if not my favorite character in a TV show, ever. it's so great that he does exactly what he should do, in the best way possible.

Absolutely!!! He went from probably my least favorite to my favorite. A credit to the writing and the performance!
