Mercy System Changes (Patreon)

To all my Heart-Conqueror tier patrons, as I'm sure you may have noticed, there has been a stark increase in the number of Mercy Streams that have come up over the past few weeks.  This stems from the system not being prepared to handle the growing number of attendees over the past couple months, and projections show if nothing changes then we'll be caught in an endless loop of Mercy Streams that'll actually make it harder to get a piece. 

To remedy this, I'll be making two changes to the system:

1. Mercy Streams will now be a extra stream day, in addition to the regularly scheduled Heart-Conqueror Stream, and will not count towards mercy tallies (Effective immediately).

2. The threshold to get a Mercy Stream will be increased from 15 to 25 (Effective starting August).

I know some may not be happy hearing about the latter change, but after pouring over the numbers extensively we found that while it may decrease the chance of getting a Mercy Stream, the new threshold will actually make it easier to get a piece through the regular streams.

I feel there has also been a shift in mindset when it comes to this system. I never meant it to be treated like a punch card goal that one looked to as their means to get a slot. Just as the name implies, I want it to be an official system I have in place to make sure far removed outliers with incredibly bad luck have some sort of safety net.
