December Update 2023 (Patreon)

Hey everybody, happy December! I am a bit late in posting this update but I have a few new things to share with everyone!

First of all, the new comics for the Movie Flick Chick book are all completed! I have a current outline for the entire book and can share some details for you all now. The specifications for the book will be as follows;

- Size: 5.5 x 8.5 inches (This is actually the page size I have always used when drawing all my comics, it’s referred to as ‘digest size’ and it’s a little shorter than standard comic size.

- Page count: 112. This length nicely fits all the comic pages I would want to add and gives me around 13-14 additional pages for exclusive bonus stuff.

- PUR Binding (For those who don’t know this is like the standard book binding you often see for modern graphic novels and books. The pages are adhered together with a type of glue instead of using stitching or staples to bind together.

- Price: $17 USD (This wouldn’t include shipping obviously, as that would be it’s own factor depending on location). I am also going to be looking into some kind of preorder offer, like a little postcard sized sketch or something to add in as well.

Anyways, hope that all sound good to everyone! I’ve been wanting to bring this project to fruition for a very long time and with it already being December now I am so excited to finish everything. I still have a few more things to set up with the book and everything, including making a cover page and such, so there will still be some more updates here shortly but I feel confident making a public announcement very soon! Oh, and one last detail but I will be selling these books through my Gumroad store as well, since I believe at the moment that is probably my best avenue to do so.

As for what else to expect this month, I will be posting a poll tonight around what kind of comic you’d like to see me draw this month. I have a few holiday themed ideas, but you’ll see them shortly. I will also be doing a fanart poll as usual and lastly the Movie Flick Chick book AMA. I was looking into a way to gather questions anonymously like using a google form or something, but so far haven’t found anything ideal yet. I’m considering just making it like a regular post instead and people can comment on it? Hmmm.
