July Update 2023 (Patreon)

Hey all, hope you’re having a good start to the week!

I’ll keep this update short but I just wanted to thank everyone for the reception on my last comic; The Muse! I really liked how it turned out, additionally there are certain aspects of how I’ve been making comics lately that have really been beneficial. For one, a less strict schedule has allowed me to adjust the scope of each comic based on what the story really needs, and has also helped prevent me from burning out nearly as often as I used to. Hopefully you’ve felt the quality of my comics has gotten better over time too! this year my approach has been to prioritize quality of output over quantity. At my current count, I’ve drawn over 600 pages of comics in just the short couple of years I’ve been doing this, and sometimes that number is actually kind of shocking.

As for what I plan on working on this month, many of you have already seen the Zelda concept I’ve put out so far but I will be doing a short little comic in the NES Zelda universe. I don’t want it to be a huge project or anything because I know Nintendo is one of those companies that is especially known for their takedowns of nsfw stuff but damn I still think it will be a fun little side project. Afterwards I’ll set up a poll for the next comic story because there’s a few of my original characters I really want to get back to with a new story soon but still need to mull the details a bit first.
