Hey all! I have some interesting news! some of you may know that I help my partner out (she's a full time fursuit maker now) by 3D printing her head bases based on her drawn references. we discussed many ways of doing it and due to certain urgencies, I had to push myself to come up with something that would make this process a lot faster and easier. so I got this idea of making a model that can be easily adjusted to fit 2D references imported to Blender. and to my surprise it works REALLY well. Everything here is automated, any adjustments to the head shape can be made and everything updates in real time. Tolerances for the eyes and compensation for fur thickness are also automated. I.m working on adding moveable breathe holes and fan mounts too. let me know if you have any crazy ideas I should add!

as for where I want to go with this.? I want to make this available to everyone. I need to gather a few fursuit makers who use Blender to help with feedback so I can make this the best it can be. If I am releasing this, I may also make a few preset head shapes to play with (aka dog, Cat, Dragon etc..) this is still very early but our first print was mostly a major success!

let me know what you think of this! I feel like I am the only one to make such a thing, but I would like to hear otherwise if not.

That's very cool! I'm not a fursuit maker and only scratched the surface of Blender (I get the concepts of most of the pieces, but actual "doing" has been limited to modeling and sculpting so far). But it's always really cool when people make useful/fun tools. Great work so far!

Great idea, if you think about adding bird heads to the list of possible pre made shapes that'd be awesome 👌 lol but yeah good luck.
