We have reached the finale of the Moore Years, the Moore Enigma Machine that goes Good movie/ Bad movie/ Good movie says that it should be good- and it's got fucking Grace Jones and Christopher Walken in it.

Everything is in place for a fucking banger of a movie.
Let's see how they do.

We got our wonderful producer Nate on this one, you can find him on twitter at https://www.twitter.com/inthesedeserts
and follow his podcast Hell of a Way to Die, a leftist millitary podcast by and for veterans at https://www.twitter.com/hellofaway

*WEB DESIGN ALERT* Tom Allen is a friend of the show (and the designer behind our website). If you need web design help, reach out to him here:  https://www.tomallen.media/

That email has inspired me to embark on a chemically heroic journey of finding out what is the best bond film/drug combination

There's an Imdb tidbit that says Grace Jones had a black dildo with her nonce scene with Moore. Not sure if that adds or detracts to the lesbian vibes of the movie.

" Reportedly, Grace Jones had a black dildo with her during the bed scene between May Day and James Bond, according to Sir Roger Moore's biography. " amazing, get his ass, Grace. err, I mean ...

If you're taking suggestions for tangentially related movies... Sean Connery plays an Irish cop with a Scottish accent in The Untouchables. It even has an extended cinematic reference to a Soviet movie, Battleship Potemkin.

“The golden man with a finger.” I laughed so hard I woke my neighbors. Abi, your bon mots know no equal! And, thanks to them, my own abs get quite a workout. I’ll have a six-pack by the end of summer. 🤣

Fucking hell the Dianne Feinstein cumming like a howler monkey joke plus the Harvey Milk investigation made my night. As a lifelong Bay Area resident I've had to deal with Feinstein (and Pelosi) since I was a kid. Never heard the story about her desire for Roger Moore.

I went back to listen to Abi's Walken impression a good 5 times before continuing

"damn, this Roger Moore dick got me feeling increasingly senile!" - dianne feinstein, probably

Also, these guys have made it quite clear that they do not want to be our friends. I've tried reaching out with gift baskets and strongly worded messages with no success. So I guess what I am saying is, you (the audience) wanna be parasocial friends? We can play Spelunky 2, watch the Simpsons and discuss the flesh eating virus that we all known as capitalism. Just reply with your credit card number and I'll txt you back!

alice highlighted this at the end of on the majesties secret service episode, and i do think its come true to a fair degree, that you've all been de-sensitised to bond from the sheer number you've seen at this point 7 scum for view to a kill!!? outrageous!

The number is only going to go higher from this point. The Living Daylights will definitely score high on smarm (all the one liners while he's driving/showing gadgets) and misogyny (he slaps Moneypenny's ass, he strips a woman to serve as a distraction). I don't think they're desensitized either because you can still hear the disdain in the hosts' voices when Bond breaks into a woman's house, or does anything dumb as shit. Also since Moore is actively decaying on screen, the smarm is more daft and acceptable which lowers the score. But younger Bonds mean higher smarm.

I was Moore upset Nate was summarizing scenes without any emotion or giving the hosts the opportunity to talk. Regardless if he produces the show, it's kind of a weird thing for a guest to do. And this happens twice. I was looking forward to the hosts' jokes and comments on the half-car Bond drives, the elevator scene and fire truck chase. If they have him back on, I really hope they don't let him summarize the plot again because that really took me out of it and obviously got me acting unwise.

Best part of this episode was my dawning realization that Zorin and May Day seemed to be in an open relationship.

Beachfox

A 9/10 episode. It looses a point because there was no discussion about how the Fire At City Hall scene almost burned down San Francisco City Hall and that's why it got heavily remodeled right before the earthquake and also no one has been allowed to film there since. I wanted "Well There's Your Problem" crossover energy!

Beachfox

But still 9/10 because the rest is as awesome as always.
